Staff is super friendly and speaks English very well. Compared to other Russian/Ukrainian hotels, I got the best service possible, unexpected actually. Also, the staff are all very beautiful ladies and smiles a lot. Food is pretty good. Rooms are clean. This is a modern hotel with facilities which we expect in a Western hotel. Room design is first class with air conditioning. I was very impressed with everything. Location was very good and having money exchange on site was great.
all reviews » This is the best hotel in Donetsk. Reasonable pricing, superior quality. Good choice for business trips. Once I have forgotten to cancell my booking, they haven't charged me for that despite of letsbookhotel.com policy. Everything this was my second stay. Please let me know of any promotional offers that you have in the future at this hotel and as I am a frequent visitor to Donetsk this is my preffered choice of hotel. Extremely good and quiet accomodation, nice room, comfy bed, very clean (oddly I found some hair / fur in the bed linen...), good wifi, professional staff, a lot of facilities (gym, spa, swimming pool). Great stuff, especiallt the reseption. Always eager to help on everything with a good English (it is a very big plus in this country.) Room was mainly well-kept, clean. Bed was comfy. No room service menu in my room. It got a little cold at night. The pool seems nice but too many families and people. Security staff were not friendly and should learn to smile and greet guests. I think that a hotel "welcoming pack" should be given to guests including how to operate air conditioning. Info about Donetsk and what is in city would be very useful. There could be nothing to dislike. Environment somewhat too much formal, some staff at the cafe does not speak English, dimming curtains let light come inside (no complete darkness), cheap furniture in the room. As personal taste, I would suggest to avoid nearby club, unless you go there with friends (and want to stick with them). Just a little far (25-30 min walking distance) from the main square at Artema Str. but the taxi is cheap and walkable if the weather is nice. It turned out that the taxi drivers in front of the hotel do charge way more than usual others. A little noisy ventilation in numbers. Sight from my room window was not good enough. The bartender was very rude and not well mannered. I filed a complain at the hotel manager. However... I have never met such arrogant security guards in a Hotel of this caliber who were standing in the Lobby Bar on the 4th floor, it was the language barrier but still you should atleast try to and be friendly instead of raisin your voice in Russian and just point me to lady in the staff who speaks English. Absolutely zero knowledge in customer service!. Almost nothing. Fitness center entry fee. Whilst the gym and spa were of a good quality, the staff did not show you all the fascilities. No negatives. no iron in the room to iron my clothes and the access to the lounge and restaurant and spa is difficult to find. Room a little small. nothing. A wardrobe is tiny in a standard room. The only negative thing we found is that in the room we booked as a double one we found only 1 set of towels/bath robe. As we checked in really late we didn't have any wish to discuss it with the reception, otherwise I'm sure it would be resolved without any problem : ). * Minibar making a lot of noise in the room (I eventually unplugged it as I couldn't sleep well) * Poorly insulated doors that let in a lot of sound from the main corridor, cleaning staff waking me up early in the morning due to noise (walkie talkie chatting made me feel like there was a SWAT team outside the door). Nothing. All great. We asked the hotel to book a taxi for us thinking this was the safer way due to being ripped off before. The taxi company they use then also tried to rip us off. Although not a direct fault of the hotel but still not very good. All it.s ok. They don´t accept to pay by cash. Location a little far from the center of the city. the price for shuttle from airport. A bit slow service. Nothing. Rooms were small and not cleaned properly even putting "Please clean my room" tag. Money exchange office located in the hotel, unfriendly staff. It was all good. money exchange service. Bad sound isolation. Beds were not very comfortable the rest was fine. Noone can speak english Rooms are not isolated against sounds Resepsion is not friendly Rooms are small for two people Bathroom facilities are not working properly.
