    The Hotel is great, the staffs are really friendly and keen to help all costumer service is fantastic and the rate is cheap. I do recommend this hotel. - site seeing. relaxation. Excellent service Relaxed atmoshere. Staff very helpful James was great.

    As we were in Jersey to visit our son who lives in St Helier it was so easy to use public transport rather than taking our hire care in the evenings The views of the beach etc. The lovely decor of public rooms in hotel and the bedroom was excellant even though we looked onto the car parking area. - Clean, spacious single room with double bed and... what people say » ample storage space.     We stayed in one of the cottages which are of a very high standard. Decoration is attactive and there are some lovely touches; comfortable and stylish. Staff were helpful, responsive and kindly - without being intrusive. We were travelling with my elderly mother and aunt and the team at La Place made everything very easy for us. I travel a lot and I'm afraid I can be quite picky but have no hesitation in recomm - Fantastic stay at Hotel La Place, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were picked up from the airport and upon arrival out bags and check in were taken care of while we enjoyed complimentary champagne in the bar! We were even lucky enough to have a free room upgrade to the newly refurbished Deluxe room which was beautiful.

    Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Good location with a beautiful park across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental with a good selection and served at your table. We had enjoyable time in the hotel bar talking to Phil the owner who ensured the music was to the liking of the guests. Waiting Staff are in one word "Exceptional." Can't wait to return back in to G - Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

    Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms are fine - plenty of storage space for a long holiday. Breakfast was excellent - wide selection of cereals, fruit etc on the buffet and an excellent hot breakfast - cooked to order and all served nice and hot. The hotel has a great reputation for it's food - an extensive fish and seafood menu a - A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever

    The Inn met all our expectations, we enjoyed the walk up from the centre of St helier to the hotel. Staff were very helpful and you always got the personal touches and felt you werent one of many guests, but always treated as individuals. Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfasts were good. Want to go back and would recommend a short stay - We stayed there for 4 nights and the facilities. Although it is an older style hotel the refurbishment is to an excellent standard. The rooms were clean and comfortable. DVD player and IPod dock were great extras and the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The in house restaurant was excellent both in quality and value for money.

    The hotel was far better equipped than I had expected. The room was spotlessly clean, also the bathroom was excellent, with big fluffly towels!
