Very friendly staff. I stay in a lot of hotels for business and this was amongst the best for customer service. Also, excellent value for a night stay. Great breakfast. Very cosy pub & restaurant. Almost everything, including a complimentary upgrade on arrival. The staff were superb. The ambience and general facilities were excellent. We would stay there again. Very clean with friendly and accommodating staff Good food and service with a family friendly feel and very attentive manager.

Moved our room and sorted the cot within minutes of our arrival. The food at breakfast was only warm not hot. Comfort rooms spacious! Good breakfast. My room was a little dated. The Bar menu lacked simpler, more traditional and economical options. The Table d'hote menu was too expensive and large for everyday guests - more suited to special "meals out" events. The en-suite bathroom, while appearing superb, needed some items repaired or updated. All was as expected or better. not very easy to find. Room felt damp (smelt damp). No real ale. my mother is disabled and could not use the shower in her room due to the very high step. The matresses were shot,need renewing. Hours to get something to eat could be longer or a sandwich for people if no chef even a few snacks behind bar would be good.A Bus from hotel to town would be good am.Better wine behind bar please. Pity there was no inside pool, but good value for Guernsey. Bed was very uncomfortable hard room small. The food. Breakfast was always cold, not impressed. Toast was cold. Need a better chef I think. Taps in our bathroom were very hard to turn on and off, need new washers. Need a little fridge in the rooms as hate UHT milk. Lacking more room tea facilities ie tea bags and fresh milk. Guernsey butter on the breakfast table would not have gone amiss,Little packets of marmalade and jam are a no no. More choice on the breakfast menu would have been good. The off putting guest sat on the sofa in reception, questioning each guest on arrival. Felt like an inquisition. Not welcoming at all. In particular when she was enquiring where guests were from, then passing judgement!. A family member not staying at the hotel joined me for breakfast on the first morning which I was charged for. Considering I didn't have breakfast for the rest of my stay this seemed a unfair charge. Room walls are so thin you can hear everything next door and in the corridors, a little noisey.
