The hotel is off the M60 at junction 19 and just along the main road on the left, very easy to find. The receptionist at check out is a really cheerful friendly guy and a great asset to the hotel. The hotel itself very clean, comfortable and the shower was superb. Better to get an upstairs room if possible as it is easy to hear noise from above if on the ground floor. Don't bother to look for anywhere else to eat other than the pub next door which was excellent for evening meal, very good valu.

Very Nice Staff and Location and really impressed with the quality of facilities.We stayed at the Brittania Hotel Manchester for 3 Days prior and it was more expensive and did not compare with the quality of simple things like fitting and Bathroom layout. First and foremost the staff were freindly and extremely helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and accessible. The hotel was convenient to locations in North Manchester that I needed to visit. Transportation is easily available. There is a good pub, and good food, right next door. Michele on reception on check in on 17th and check-out on 18th was fantastic and a great asset to the business. She dealt with a small issue I had professionally and with minimum fuss which I really appreciated.comfortable, clean, friendly staff & very good value for money. We are very likely to stay again. It was good to have the pub next door for a supper on the ay we arrived and the sevice there was excellent. Staff were excellent and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and they helped opening doors, moving the cleaning trolley without making me feel an inconvenience. Couldn't of been more helpful and pleasant. good clean pleasant stay. 10-15 mins away from city centre, we were group of golfers so was plenty of courses within 5 mile. friendly and easy check in with helpful staff thanks. The room was good and good facilities. nothing. Was quoted 63.50 for double room and breakfast for me and partner ended up paying 72. The room was cold as the stat reverts to a cooler temperature (I know this is from when it was a Premier Inn). Dirt around the washbasin plughole. Inability to supply a ground floor room as requested. n/a. wi fi not free. high price for breakfast. double bed very uncomfortable, needs to be replaced. telephone charges were not stated in any literature neither did the receptionist know the charges. Nothing. No hair dryer. Bed not very comfy as was joined together and could feel it! Breakfast staff in the pub were not friendly and breakfast was not as advertised. And need to update tv!. TV in room didn't work, and staff couldn't do anything about it, which wasn't good as we missed an awaited televised football match for which we had returned from the city!!. There was a dirty sock on the ground when we entered the room... middleton where the hotel is located is run down. Thin walls and noisy neighbours. I did not have a good night's sleep due to the extremely loud floor boards above room 5. I mentioned this in the morning to the receptionist who said I should have got up in the night and complained. However I am not sure how bad, squeaky, loud floorboards could be resolved! As I did not have a good nights sleep , and neither did the children or other adult in the room that I could like to receive my money back. Please advise how this can be done. Nothing really bas but very average hotel with poor quality/price ratio. Does not deserve the current 8.3 booking rating. No retaurant : although next to the hotel, you need to go outside, even for breakfast. No tissues, shampoo etc in room. I specifically requested a room with a walk in shower at the time of booking but when we got there was told there was no such room in the hotel. It looked dirty and Dated. There was lots on noise from the room above myn from 7am-10.30 Not happy. The food in the hotel was unbareable had to send it back twice as not correct in the end we gave in. Kidies portion on the 2 for 10pounds unbelievable. price , faded look. When arriving at The Comfort Inn after a very long day, we were told they had no record of our booking, even though I had the confirmation with me, they then told us they did not have room for us the whole of our stay and we would need to leave after 2 nights instead of 3. So we sort a different hotel, and ended up having our van broken into that night at our new hotel, bad experience alround really.
