the staff - Tommy's a legend, the price,. Location Location Location. The price. The room has high ceiling, well maintained and reasonable price. Easy access with Metro Link. The staff were very helpful, the food was nice and the rooms were very clean. central location, close to transport. good location, easy to find. only cold water in a shower, but hot water in a basin. noisy ( other guests) very friendly staff. The man on Reception was really friendly and helpful. He advised us on the best form of transport to take us into the City centre and directed us to the local Metro station. Well located for a driving person, easy to find. I stayed in a single room which was pretty basic but it is exactly what I expected for the price.very cheap. The man in reception was very friendly and nice and made the stay very enjoyable. Very cheap and cheerful, no facilities but if you want a bed for the night and nothing more then it's fine. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. lack of facilitys. no bar. lack of a common room (with soft seats), lack of tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, but there was a "tea/coffee" room in fairness. The shower was a bit dodgy. no elevator. The hotel is very old but it wouldn't be a problem if some things were changed (ie light bulbs) or updated. The hair dryer remembered early '80 and of course didn't work correctly. It was dangerous to switch even it on.(I would suggest to remove them from the rooms- anyway they don't work). The staff were very abrupt and did not seem interested in us enjoying our stay. its very basic only suitable for a small budget. The Room was cramped, there were 3 beds, no desk, no night stands, the shower was very small. There were no coffee making facilities in the room, no place to store luggage. The heating was inadequate and the duvets too thin. I left after the first night!.
