This is a beautiful apartment in the heart of London, & close to several of the attractions. With the tube being within walking distance, & a bus stop just below the apartment, it was a really convenient location. The apartment in itself is of a really large size, considering the generally small size of apartments in central London, & we were really surprised to find such a good sized apartment in London. We travelled with my mother, & a 2.5 year old kid, & it was very well .
all reviews » The apartment was very clean,spacious,modern,well equipped and conveniently positioned for many of the top tourist attractions. There is a perfect view of the top of the Shard from the Balcony. A real plus is that The Bus Stop is immediately outside the front door ,Waterloo Tube station only 10 minutes walk and Lambrith North Tube station only 4 minutes walk which makes for easy travel around London.There is a great variety of take-away outlets ,restaurants,pubs and supermarkets in the area .Th. We loved the spacious apartment. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of coffee,tea, sugar and even milk. They thought of everything!! There was everything you could need for a holiday. We went in January 2011 and it was always heated. A beautiful view over London. Good value as you wouldn't get all this space in a hotel which are normally so small. We will definitely recommend this to our friends. We hope to book once again with them. We received the keys after a 10 min wait only. The location was perfect as you could manage to go to various attractions in minutes by walking, bus or tube. The flat was on the fourth floor with views of London-Eye and a glimpse of BigBen. Even though it was central, it was still quiet during evenings and nights. Free Wi-Fi. It was easy to get around London which was in walking distance of Westminster and Waterloo train / underground. Very spacious, quiet, safe, clean and very nice to have tea, coffee and milk supplied. The only problem was that The beds were uncomfortable ,but Waterloo Apartments assured us that they will follow it up and offered us a discount on our next stay .Our 2 boys made use of the 2 extra fold out beds which they found very comfortable.The beds were comfortable but squeaky. The shower heads need some maintance. We asked ourselves why the water from the shower and taps were either too scorching hot or ice cold. The negative points as you can see are very minor and not a big problem. . No air-conditionning. No basic amenities in kitchen for a family of four staying ten days: pepper, sugar, coffee etc.. Limited bars/restaurants, shops nearby. The balconies were difficult to access due to the very large steps that needed to be negotiated. The bathrooms need to updated to include a walk in shower. Walk in closet was full of equipment and difficult to use as a wardrobe. Point to note, the instructions for the door codes should also state that the inner door opens with the same code as the outer door. This is not clear on the information. a) No a/c b) Noisy street below. Would have preferred an apartment off the main road for street noise reasons. The squeaky beds. More flexible check-in times in case of an earlier arrival. . The beds were not very comfy and the floors all creaked and squeaked when walking on them. And the shower in the onsuite was tiny. Was pretty light inside once dark outside. Telephone and Internet service was inoperable when we arrived. Unfortunately this also made it impossible to contact property management about the issue. We did however, figure out a solution by the following day so it wasn't a problem. We stayed for 5 days and could have used a few more towels for that length of time. Also, it appears that while there are many pot and pan lids, there is a lack of actual pots and pans. Beds were a bit uncomfortable. It was a bit loud at night with traffic. Wi-Fi issue at the beginning but later on solved with staff assistance. Lack of household goods; found for example three glasses in an apartment booked for four. No towel/bed linen replacement for a six night stay. The leaflet needs to be updated e.g. Wifi Connection is invalid. So, I need to call the Customer Service in order to get connected to other WiFi and Apartment's Phone Number is invalid. zero. Afew things not in order but rectified on request. -system -it a service apartment so there are no one to guide you how to access the room and phone when aboard cost a lot. no reception.it is not easy to find the rooms. it is not clearly to show me which room should i take in the confirmation letter. All the locks. The shower in main bathroom has no hook so you cannot use shower. We all had to use ensuite shower. No air conditioning, was very hot, sweaty & could not sleep. Bed uncomfortable. Was not good value for money.
