The Gothic-style building was built in 1906, and was originally a gentry home. It still retains ornate cornicing, and high ceilings. Buses stop outside the hotel every 5 minutes, and travel to Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus. The family room was very spacious. it really surpriced me. I liked the room decoration, spacious bathroom, mini fridge in the room and free internet connection and free parking space in front of the hotel. Location is on the main road, so accessible to restaurants, shopping areas. I booked this hotel because was close to the east london uni in fact is inly 10 minutes far by feet. very nice staff,very helpful and patient; the facilities are good, love the white sheet and soft mattress; the room is clean and warm, it is really worth the money; and the location is also excellent for me and my friends, easy to find and nearby to the bus station!.

They don't have a cod bed and my daughter is only 2 and was not easy to put her to sleep. so I think a travel cod bed is essential, especially when you offer family room. and it is not expensive.. a used one can cost less than £20. the second the vending machine was not working also they offer a poor service regarding food and drink, but the location allows you to buy it nearby. room was a bit small (seems to be the norm in London, though, so I didn't really mind). Small bathroom (but clean), older bed. A bit noisy during weekend. No small lamps (for evening reading). The positioning of the bed was not the best, the was not a bed protector on top of the mattress, a few movement I was sleeping only on top of the mattress,. There was no hot water at 9:30am when wanting a shower. Room wasn't quite finished but will be fine once it is!. It could have been a little warmer and my neigbours were noisy - banging the door shut every half hour until midnight. Breakfast is 7-9am i am not a early riser. Bed was very soft. sharing toilet. There was not hot water and the room was very basic. The beds were not okay. Real cups rather than plastic ones for coffee would be better. The noise in the hotel, I could hear every little noise quite loud during the night, the outside trafic noise was as loud when the window was open as it was when it was closed.The hotel is situated on a very busy road. Our rooms heating didn't work and we had to ask for a heater. Our view from the window was basically a construction site and we could hear the room next doors conversation, there wasn't a fridge in our room and we also didn't have anywhere to put our clothing, we had no faculties in our room and our tv didn't work also we had to leave the key when we wanted to leave the hotel. The facilities weren't great, the shower room was a bit worse for wear!. Location was too far from town;. The pillows were extremely thin. Expected Premier Travel Inn not a copy. The room was very basic. No Hot water in the am Limited Car Parking. bed was uneven and hard to sleep on. facilities are really poor.. when we stayed electricity was tripping constantly. did not provide table fan.. they turned off the room's power supply when we were away... The first night that rained heavily the carpet got soaked wet in the room and as we stayed 5 night the carpet was soaked wet ever since. We couldn't walk with soaks as our feet were geting really wet along with ou. Leaking fridge, one thin pillow each, noise from other guests all night. Too noisy, there are currently construction works at the hoel. Cramped rooms especially bathroom, bit pricey for what it is, and noisy. Poor facilities, needs a full refurb. Feeling of insecurity. Hole in the wall. not clean. terrible shower. can hear noises from the street even when windows are closed. Everything !!!! the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in . I didn't enjoy one single thing. Had two rooms the first had a soaking wet carpet then the other option stunk of smoke had hair all over the floor. It's the worst place I ve had to stay!! If it wasn't so late when turned up I would of left and found alternative hotel. Avoid at all cost. - Shower hanging off the wall - Stained carpets - Being offered a room where the mattriss was on the floor. - Stained curtain as a doorway to the ensuite. - Only one light working in the room. I woke up with an extra finger. it felt like at Cernobil. The room looked like a limer box. very noisy. electricity did not work properly. the bathroom was smaller than a sofa. - hot water not available every day - don't clean the rooms every day - charge extra for currency changing if paying by credit card - door doen't close properly, makes noises - noisy street front.
