After having experienced many problems in our departure from Rome, we arrived very late and exhausted at the Howard Hotel. We had a marvellous arrival with a complimentary bottle of champagne! Besides, the hotel has a good location (1 minute walk to Temple undergrond station) and offers a fantastic view of River Thames. Highly recommended!. The service was the finest I have had throughout my travels around the world. Until this short break, I was always under the impression that the British culture would never let us reach the heights of the service achieved in other parts of the world, but now I know different.

Letting us know that we could park around the side of the hotel on a meter which was free on sundays, rather than telling me that the onsite parking at £37 was the only option. Could not fault it, wonderful location right in the heart of the City, but lovely and quiet at night to sleep. Hotel and Staff were wonderful, really made us feel special. The room and hotel were spotless, service was second to none. The hotel is very comfortable, stragegically placed and is across the road from the 'Temple' underground station. Staff were friendly and courteous at all times. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. location was perfect,would love to go back there for my wedding anniversary on the 5th of july but wont be able to afford the rates unless they were the same as the one i had last weekend. If something had to be said, maybe one could expect some more luxury in a hotel a expensive as this: free Internet, a larger TV...Our wonderfull 8th floor riverside room was a bit noisy due to traffic(nobody's perfect). beds rather used so not so comfortable., rather ecxpensive room sevice. The 'In-room dining' menu and price list was confusing and I felt a tad misleading. This resulted in two very expnesive breakfasts!!. only the rates changing weekly -difficult to match with corporate hotel budget.
