It was very convenient to transport the underground was just around the corner the above ground just down the street buses just in front and a 24 cab office almost next door making it easy to get around London the staff was extremely helpful and someone at the desk 24 hours. You also had a Tesco across the street as well as an atm and a laundry next door making it easy for longer stays. Would definitely stay again.
all reviews » Free on raod parking at the weekend. Very warm welcome. Reception, bar (we did not eat there) & room all spotlessly clean and well apointed. Great bathroom with lovely shower. Approx 4 mins walk from tube. The Bakerloo Line took us straight into Oxford Circus and then to Wembley later. We paid £60 for a Sat night which was really great value for money and would certainly go back. Beautiful, clean, modern hotel, very friendly staff. On arrival Dominica the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the cheff was very friendly, greeting all the guests at breakfast with a friendly smile. Ania the lady on the bar was very friendly and chatty and her cocktails were fab!. Excellent & safe location - local neighbourhood not full of tourists, easy access to buses & underground to take you to London central Friendly & helpful staff Clean & quiet room Food in restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and had all that we required. Breakfast was freshly cooked & very tasty. I'd emailed ahead that it was our 10th anniversary and within 5 minutes of being in our room, a waiter brought us two glasses of champagne :) nice touch. Excellent location tube station down the street which takes you direct to oxford street in 12minutes We also had hour to kill before could.check in the recepionist kindly let us leave bags whilst we found nice little pub down hill for lunch. Very quick and easy to get to the city centre. Clean modern room, good breakfast, air conditioning in room that worked well as London can get very hot in hotels. For under £100 including breakfast for 2 this is probably the best I have stayed in in London. Room was beautiful with a selection of teas (including herbals), staff were helpfull, tube directly across the road and regular buses to Camden. The room was warm (lovely as my house is freezing). The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The decor was very modern and luxurious. The room itself was smaller than the photos on line, however I had read the reviews before hand. We also had a room without a window which was not great but the room itself was very nice. Room size is small for 2 people however, this is common in the uk. Within close proximity of the underground, however felt a little uneasy when walking back to the hotel at night. Otherwise faultless. No complaints. The rooms are very small, though lovely decorated. If you want big rooms in London then you have to pay for it or stay out by Heathrow way. Nothing. TV didn't work on the 1st night but we got a complementary breakfast and it was fixed for the 2nd night. The location - I had chosen this hotel because it was supposedly 1.5miles from Camden, it was further away 3 miles an hours walking. I do not know how they measure, probably as the crow flies and not taking walking or taxi into consideration. Towels were too small and check in too late. Cramped bathroom. We had no complaints!. Nothing really.. Breakfast could do with continuing past 10.30!. It's more Kilburn than Maida Vale so the area is rather tacky. Rooms were quite small but adequate as we were only staying for one night. Double beds were small. Very minor things ie: no bath mat or iron and board, air con in room wasn't very effective. Nothing. not being told on booking that i would need photo i.d and to pay a deposit. the room looked alot bigger in the online photos. The location is in the outer parts of central london (20 min subway from baker street), and I guess that if you are doing a weekend in London, you want to be close to everything, which this hotel does not offer. It´s to far from the big ben. The time for check-in (14:00 o cloc´k). - They charge their guests for luggage keeping per hour rate. It's not the first time I wish to keep the luggage in the hotel between checkout and a flight, but it's the first time the hotel charges for such a basic service. sheets didn't fit the bed so the sheets kept ruffling up in the night. Breakfast a bit expensive regarding the small size of the buffet. nothing. The area isn't the best but the hotel is close to the tube station so its easy to get to other parts of London. Also, a taxi we hired through the hotel ripped us off. I had requested twin beds as I was travelling with my daughter but that was not possible perhaps because of the price!. Noisy Couldn't open window Expensive breakfast. Room sizes were alright but could do with being a bit bigger. More Tv channels. BREAKFAST was not quality nor quantity. It was very very poor. I had to go to Tesco to get croissants as there were none. The choice was either take it or leave it. NOT GOOD. room too small and didn't get serviced until late as afternoon when we had been out since early and resting in afternoon, inconvenient. Menu did not have Asian influence as advertised. Windows didnt open in room and too stuffy. no windows in the room as inthe basement. No plug sockets near the mirrors (for hair dryer/straight ers). Dress of restaurant staff, especially the chef, was very untidy and casual for a food environment when overall the hotel was smart and very clean. The beds are very small, but nothing too terrible. Room was small. Windows did not open. Air conditioning smelt offensive when re-entering room. The little things were a bit wrong lights didn't work. The tv lost its colour and was green. Some of the bathroom fittings were lose. We didn´t like the size of the room (too small), the price (too high) and also the fact that removing the key-card out of its device on the wall would turn off the minibar and your food would probably be rotten in a few hours. Room much smaller than expected, loose faucet in the sink, no room / bar service whatsoever after 22h or so, a bit too expensive for what you actually get, more of a solid 3 star hotel than a 4 star one. Finding a used condom in the corner of the room. Noisy neighbouring guests. Rooms very hot. No food although food was advertised.
