Nice check in experience - after asking staff about our welcome bottle of wine it arrived on ice to our room within minutes. An excellent way to start a night out. Room service was reduced by 25% between 3 and 5pm so had some food too. King Prawn Ceasar salad was great. Don't expect a great river view unless you have paid extra, perfect location for all the main tourist activities in London.

It was a bit dark in the room - the hotel call this "fashionably underlit". This would have annoyed me on a longer stay. I tried to email the hotel on both addresses provided on their website and had no responses.Would have loved a better view, but it did not impact on the enjoymentof our stay. Not really, staff were knowlegeable and friendly. Didnt take breakfast as it was extra.The staffs were polite but their smile did not reach the eye. Probably because we did not dressed smartly. More expensive that i wanted to pay for business travel but was the only hotel we could find that offered breakfast. forgot to mention at the time, but my room only had net curtains so i assume when the light was on people in the building opposite would be able to see me.Value for money. No. Bar prices ! £8 for a glass of Merlot.. When the reception was busy they did not effectively control the queue and customers were all over the place.Perfect. the prices over priced food and drinks...Slightly erractic cleaning times - we were out from 10am to 3pm, and the cleaner arrived just after we got back, so we decided not to have the room cleaned. On the day of check-out, the cleaner came in at 8am. The view from our bedroom window and the fact that the window opened fully and we were on the 9th floor!. There was not very many shops or restaurants within close walkingdistance.
