This hotel is not perfect by any means however for £60.00 a night in central Chelsea im not sure what people expect, i think a lot of the 'bad reviews' on here are out of order considering the price of the hotel. the location is brilliant, couldnt expect anywhere closer for this price. Excellent location, very close to Bayswater tube station, amid the hustle and bustle of a lively tourist 'hub'. Also just across the road from Whiteleys shopping centre, which was a delight.

Do not forget your earplugs because the street could be quite noisy early the morning. The breakfast is fine (toasts, egg, cereals and coffee/tea). I would recommend it for a short stay. Excellent location beside bayswater & queensway tube. Room was fine for one person. Exactly what was expected for £60 a night. However... Friendly staff and good location. Bit noisy at times, but what else would you expect from somewhere as 'alive' as the main road through Bayswater?!. near to window it's quite cold (and of course beds are under it that's why it was not to comfortable to sleep). . No double glazing so street noises are loud, no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Shower/ toilet cubicle made me laugh, was too small. Walls are paper thin so everything can be heard. In the 3 days I was there towels or bedding weren't changed. Breakfast. The toilet is fairly clean but the smell from d mainhole is horrible. Uncomfortable bed. Unable to sleep because of traffic & noise from the street. It was cold outside, but even colder inside, (heating on full seemed to be working OK but room & windows very draughty). En suite room with shared toilet?. Size of the room + bathroon and beds. The room is so small even without a toilet. It has a shower room, a very very small one. There's just one staff at the reception and that's all I can see in the hotel. The aisle is narrow and the rooms are close, I worried this would be a big problem if there is a fire. The en suite toilets are the smallest en suite toilets I have ever seen in any hotel its smaller than a toilet in planes and I'm not exaggerating, you can't even open the door from inside because the sink is in the way. Flies all over the hallways. Beds are so hard and creaky I thought they were going to break. £77 for small single with a very bad shower. Excessive floodlighting shining on my window prevented sleep. After several complaints each night they were turned off around 1am, but I had to complain each night. Inadequate hanging & storage facilities. Breakfast too late. L. Old, dirty, toilet was ridiculously small, no tv remote, noise from the corridors. Dirty. you pay for what you get !. No flexibility for nigh cancelation even 48h before, which it must be illegal. Manager had a very bad attitute. Dirty walls, broken furniture, peeling wallpaper, stained ceilings, decay and neglect all around. I did not try the breakfast; I left as soon as I could. Not recommended!. Reception staff as useful as a traffic warden. Arrogant with chip on shoulder, not helpful at all very lazy. The room was very small, it was more like a stateroom (bathroom included). Suddenly, a beetle came in.... Where do i start? paper thin walls smell of smoke and stale food could barely turn round in the bathroom. holes in the floor finishes... appalling value for £100!. Rooms are not clean!. The whole hotel, the room, the food, the manager, the toilet is a joke, everything is very small. Manager not friendly at all. Hotel was dirty, cold, none of the appliances worked and overall a very poor hotel. i stay in central London about every month and have done for 3 years, this is the worst place i have ever stayed. It smells and it is dirty. Small cramped i can deal with there are plenty of better places to stay for less money!. Overall everything. the toilet is extremely small! the room as well. no lift and staff not friendly. wont be back!.
