What people say
comfort and space in the apartments - hamper was a definate bonus after travelling it was good to have. Very accessible to tubes stations / bars / restaurants. everything about this appartment was perfect. Spacious, Quiet and Excellent Location. The location and rooms with a balcony make this an excellent choice. For the same price, I've stayed in tiny hotel rooms without any of the extras you get here. I read reviews saying the service is bad...One recpetionist went out of her way to get me some olive oil when i had nothing to cook with. The other was rather abrupt and with more training marlin will find there service rating improved.all reviews »
I have stayed here twice now and love it. It is now my first choice for when i want a weekend in London. Also good value for money, i've shared with one other person, making it about £50per person per night, which, in london, and for what you get, is fantastic. great accommodation; space and cleanliness and ease of use. central location - great value. the apartments are clean, comfortable and well equipped. they have all the facilitis one would require for a stay in London...much better than any hotel could offer..i will definitely stay/use Marlin again.Clean large studio with a balcony, comfortable bed, large fridge freezer, effective grill, distinctive crockery, good shower, fluffy towels. Excellent quality of apartments. Very pleasant and spacious living, sleeping and bathroom areas. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully kitted witheverything you need. rooms, kitchen, facilities like TV , Internet all. good location - hassle free. Great to have so much space and facilities.spacious modern and fresh. It made a change from a hotel and was like home from home, nicely decorated and comfy. Plus it was really near to the tube station (maybe a bit too close!) which was great to access the city.Very good value for location. Easy access to transport. In an area which is quiet out of working hours, so would not be ideal for a weekend stay. Very modern style; appartment, completely furnished, Lan-connection in the living room! Well functionning hair dryer! Quite location!. The apartment was very comfortable and well maintained. Reception staff were very pleasant on arrival and helpful. Very near by underground stations. Very well located. Near St. Paul's Cathedral.very nice room / apartment, great facility, and very central location. It was very spacious and easily accesible. The two bedroom apartment was very spacious. Two bathrooms, living room and kitchen all the facilities you need. The apartment was furnished to a high standard and was well equiped. For me it was like a home away from home. The location, it was clean, apartments were spacious and enjoyed the independance they provided us as a group. +nice looking facilities, clean, tv with dvd, kitchen, easy to use.the room. The size ofthe room was good. The location of the hotel was good. Good selection of t.v channels. Very warm with easy to use heating. access to pubs, restraunts and food outlets was good. The room was well apopited with plenty of space. I like the location. Location. I think they should offer a service where you can leave your bags (for a fee) as the check out is early at weekends.Slightly convoluted pre-checkin requirements, but this is soon got used to. Having to take the rubbish out myself.Concealed and inconvenient broadband socket, no grill pan, solitary wine glass, mediocre TV, alarm clock not functioning and no wake-up service via the TV. Would be helpful if desk staff were more knowledgeable about London and/or more info available in brochure or map form. Our booking was changed from 1 x 2 bedroom apartment to 2 x 1 bed apartments but as this was effectively an upgrade we had no complaint. It would have been easier if sky channels that Marlin Apartmentsused were listed, I had to keep scanning each channel to find onethat they had. Bath room. long life milk (should be fresh) only enough cereal for one person (booked for 2) poor quality juice tea and coffee. You could hear the sound of the tube underneath you but you soon forgot about it and it didn't ruin our stay, we would stay there again, but maybe people should be aware of this in the information you give.no reception desk late in the evening!. Would be good to have vending machines for drinks, snacks atc as a lot of the shops in the area are closed at weekends. Have to clarify it is not a hotel. No daily cleaning, but the apartment is wonderful. It can acomodate 4 people easily (need a aditional matress for that, 'cause there is already a comfortable sofa). The reception staff was very unfriendly to say the least, felt like you where a burden to them. The receptionist could have been more friendly. The slight noise from the trains running underground. Would have been better to have been on a higher floor. The conceige really needs to get some people skills. We didn't even recieve a hello or welcome when we entered. She was rude beyond belief and when we asked if we could leave our bags at reception she we got an agry and sarcastic reply. This really ruined our first day there and we will not return despite the quality of the room. Utterly disgraceful behaviour . We had no access to the internet and could not reach any help.it was cold. I thought access to the hotel room was a bit difficult especially with 5 suitcases and 2 kids there was about 5 steps to go up after the lift to get to our room which wasnt easy. I would have thought the people at the reception would have offered to help us but nothing. i would have preferred a higher room just to be able to get more of a view as we looked out at a office block and alley way.the bathroom had obviosuly suffered a flood - warped flooring, missing tiles and brown staining on the walls - also a smell of damp - this room should not be used for guests until it has been repaired and properly aired. not easy to operate the phone, heating system. Extremely noisy troughout the night, traffic, tube, etc. nothing, marlin apartments are liars none of the requirements were met absolute rubbish service. an investigation was being carried out since the 5th july 2008 and yet i have received no response.
