It has its own pub, The Anchor, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in traditional surroundings. Some rooms can take 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 16 years). The 2 children also get a free full breakfast when accompanied by an adult eating a full breakfast. The full all-you-can-eat breakfast has the expected cooked items, including vegetarian sausages, as well as a wide continental selection. We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June & July 2013. The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area. All staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. They put themselves out to assist us. Each room we stayed in was different ranging from typical "European" size to larger than what you would e.

The comfiest bed ive ever slept in, much better than the 5 star knightsbridge hotel we stayed in earlier in year! Great breakfast in the Anchor pub next door. Breakfast room upstairs with river & terrace views . Lots to do in area, took the river boat down to the Eye (you can also walk this in 15- 20mins) then 10 mins on foot to Horseguards parade and onto Trafalgar Square. . I will just confirm what many other have already written about this hotel. It's nice, it's pleasant, nothing important to complain about. Charming atmosphere in Anchor pub, where breakfast is served. Room was very clean, use leflets at the receptionist desk, those can save you some extra pounds. Many attractions are walking yards away (Southwark Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe Theater, Tate Modern, London Bridge). Try a walk along Bankside through to the London Eye and across the Thames via Sout. Excellent stay, this time with family of 4 in a family room. Despite 4 beds in same room enough space for us all. Everything one could which is there. Fantastic location in London. Early check in was possible after having called a day before. Super breakfast in adjacent pub. The staff was extremely helpful. One block from Globe theater. Tate, Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Tower of London all within walking distance. Great location as we wanted to be in that area. Easy to get to station and access all areas. Good value, room was large and surprisingly quiet considering we were right by Borough Market and the river. Would recommend. The staff in the premier inn were excellent. In particular Mimi Alexandra and Marie. Nothing was too much trouble . They were very welcoming and had a great knowledge of the area. Rooms nice and clean. Very nicely situated hotel alongside river Thames. Easy access. Many pubs and restaurants around including own pub. Rooms have all one would require for a short stay. If you have any influence on the pub they are missing out on a lot of trade by shutting one bar at 11 o'clock while the main bar can't cope with the pressure. Extra staff wouldn't help as there is not enough space or tills. Keep small bar open until crowds thin out. Limited parking. No complaints. Extra charge for Wifi. No food served after 10:00 pm. Nothing really although there are no extra facilities like a gym or pool. You get a lot of exercise walking about so it doesn't really matter. The ceilings and doors were like paper - sound travels very easily within the hotel. It sounded like the people staying above me were jumping around all the time - but I think it was just amplified. We didn't bother with The Anchor, the pub next door, for breakfast or anything else. Almost all the reviews were terrible. It looks like a tourist trap and there are lots of good eating places within five minutes walk. Compared to other Premier Inns we stayed in the master bed was very firm. I asked for a duvet to be used as a topper pad which the hotel duly obliged with. This helped but I think they could consider getting some softer mattresses or topper pads for those who don't like or aren't used to really firm beds. No comment as everything was good. Malfunction in the room and noisy beer delivery at 7.30am. N/A. Guests need to know that they need to bring their own bottles of shampoo and conditioner. - Soap in the bathroom - very narrow bathtub - subterranean room with not much view. - pricey: £323 for two nights. no ice machine - Ilike alot of ice in my water and sodas. Noise from trains was expected so this wasn't an issue, but very early morning deliveries to the two bars opposite was intrusive as it happened every day. Not the cheapest of Premier Inns, but entirely reasonable for such a magnificent position next to Borough Market and the South Bank. Nothing. Private hire taxi service to Heathrow quoted one price to us through the reception desk at the hotel, but charged us more once we were in the cab and basically at their mercy. Waterloo taxi service. Don't use them anymore. They are ripping off your customers. Can someone tell me who to report this to officially? They are bad for business, and ended a great vacation very badly. We stayed twice, first room on first floor was great, the second time, room on third floor overlooking quadrangle was smaller and a bit noisier but did us for time. A bit short on tea/coffee but overall these were small things and would return. Nothing !!!. The fact that the air con made the room very cold, and it took us a while to work out that we should switch that off, and turn on the heater Bathroom could do with a touch of paint and the shower's sink needed unblocking, but otherwise fine!. The internet service was horrible. That needs to be fixed ! ! The beds were to firm as well. Not enough outlets. I have a cpap machine and had to move my bed every night next to an outlet which was the tv outlet, not very convient. People need to know that shampoo isn't provided, luckily I had read that on someone elses review so I went prepared. The journey to/fro the hotel from the Tube proved to be a challenge when lugging our baggages on the uneven pathways. Wasn't anything. Slatted blinds on window did not keep out the cold air. Could not change the temperature of room as heating was controlled by the hotel so was rather cold. It's quite pricey but so is most of London. toiletry good be improved. Drinking water fom the vending machine was always out of stock and there was no other possibility to buy some in the hotel during our stay. Nothing , it was all excellent. Key cards kept malfunctioning. Expensive - but I guess you pay for the location. Breakast in the pub was dismal. No bar. Plastic key failed too often. Absence of staff behind the counter in the evening when trying to get the plastic key reactivated!. The access to public transit was a problem for us at our age. Noise from room upstairs audible. TV remote did not have menu buttom on it as decribed in leaflet in room so did not know how to see what channels there were. Large crack in sink in bathroom.
