Freedom of movement. Helpfulness and freindliness of reception staff. This was our second stay at your hotel and, will certainly stay there again. thankyou. However, would be a nice gesture if on booking with you, you could recognise the name and address of guests that have stayed with you before, and thank them for booking with you again, I am sure it would add an extra touch of friendliness.
all reviews » It was a lovely room, large, airy and very quiet. A bit hot late evening as due to the hotel's location the air-conditioning has to be switched off over night. We rang reception and asked for a fan and it was delivered to our room within 5 mins. The staff were all helpful and very friendly, and the decor and cleanliness of the room and the hotel was excellent.The staff were very helpful. The suite was excellent, no issues with hot water etc like previous reviews. Our evening meal was fantastic and the location couldn't have been better for our stay. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to book again should the need arise. having stayed at this hotel before i knew what to expect. originally did'nt think i could stay at this hotel because of the price until i found fantastic deal with LetsBookHotel.com.we were going to the royal albert hall and this hotel is just about as close as you can get!. Very friendly staff and helpful. Probably one of the best greetings I hadon arriving at a hotel. Also, we were upgraded to an Apartment which wasa nice surprise. Perfectly situated for our planned evening - very niceand interesting area. Close to tube too. The convenience for visiting the Royal Albert Hall. The sandwishes we had sent to our room were 'delicious' and very reasonably priced. It is located right beside the south entrance to Hyde Park - great totake a walk in. Central location, clean comfortable room, friendly staff. Service, quietness and position imn London. through one of the doors on the ground floor there is an immediate step down with no warning signs-could be quite dangerous!. Quite a distance from tube stations, but good bus route much closer. It is a good 10 minute walk from the nearest tube. Breakfast was far tooexpensive. The bar closed at 11pm and we were unable to get a drink when we returned from Royal Albert Hall - were directed to the hotel across the road. The lift doors need some attention to stop the squeaking on opening and closing.The breakfast buffet could have cost a little less for what was offered as I took advantage of it only once and then had breakfast elsewhere. Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Only that the shower in my Mother's room did not work, so she came along to me and used mine. Can't remember her room number, but she was in a single. Soft bed, i know a lot of people like soft beds though.Bath and shower noise was transmiitted through walls and was mildly irritating. Some signs of ageing, eg chipped bath, water-damaged panel, poorly flushing loo, tears in net curtains, let down the general standard, which was good.The beds were firmer than we prefer in order to be really comfortable. Bar not open Sunday evening. I did not get any answer when I telephoned room service, which was stated as 24-hour and I called just after midnight. Breakfast (not included) was poor value on the one occasion I took it, but it is always over-priced in hotels.bedside light was hanging of the wall!! Also a few biscuits to go with the welcome pack,normal when overseas and other UK hotels of this standard. Our bed was quite soft which meant if one of us moved then the other was bounced around a little!!.
