Central London in your face. Location was excellent. lovely staff. I thought the room was a good size the t.v, bathroom and tea making facilities were good. The staff was very helpful and nice. Good service at breakfast and reception. Position for conference and staff friendliness. Staff were extremeley courteous and helpful givng serv ice with a smile. Location was most important. Good, clean, comfortable hotel.good value for money - central location. Friendly Staff, conveniently situated. The location and the good value. convenient for the west end.It was close to all the amenities, especially the course I was attending. It was clean and comfortable and excellent location!. Friendly helpful staff. Nice warm room. we could enter our room early. Full English breakfast. The quitenss. Location is great, rooms are clean, breakfast was good. Friendly staff. I like the confortable room and location. possibility to make tea in the hotel room. Convenient location. Location. very convenient location to my meeting venue. it was close to where my son lives. It was conveniently located. the bed was comfortable.Clean and convenient. breakfast. Location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The Hotels location in the centre of London. The hotel was clean. The english breakfast was good. It is close to shopping areas. It was right in the centre. Convienent Location. Location very good. location good. location. the room was relatively clean and the breakfast was lovely (although the fresh orange juice was luke warm!). Only that there was no breakfast included!. Phone in room not working, no bath. The breakfast range was very poor the continental was a choice ofcornflakes or museli with white toast, both of which were served fromanother room. Fresh fruit and yoghurts would have been nice with achoice of toast. Bathroom was too small and the toilet was coming away from the wall. It was very cramped to use the loo.Rooms were very small but for the price cant complain!. Sink was too small. room more like a single but ok for a night. It was a bit dated and the shower rail was rusty, perhaps lacking in a few finishing touches.Hotel could not find the second room I had booked for two friends on their system which was a little worrying. But they gave my friends two single rooms for the price of a twin so that was OK, although if they had been a couple they would not have been too pleased. Shower curtain and shower grout in shower looked grubby but did not stop me having a nice shower. Would be nice to have hot chocolate. curtains of our windows were damaged. Reservation was for a twin room but then we were assigened two single rooms, which was OK but not what we expected. The hotel has been upgraded over the past few years but more work needs to be done, especially on the plumbing. Room needed a lot of maintenance. Receptionist might be more friendly. breakfast and the reception. The water in the shower was not warm enough. More breakfast offerings should be possible. I did not use Internet and thought it was a bit overpriced. The hotel was adequate and about as expected for Central London. Management could update a few things to give it an better feel.In need of renovation. Rooms and hotel very tired. A bit grubbier than we remember it from the year before.small bathroom. breakfast was below average. menu should be improved. In poor repair in places. small bathroom with a shower with no hot water and did not like the sink in the bedroom instead of the bathroom. Small details indicative of slight lack of care - specifically, the door knob was loose! Small as i say, but it's the very first thing a guest would notice about the hotel.windows very dirty. Towels were a bit ropey. I had an incredibly small room on the top floor. The lift only went to every half floor meaning I had to negotiate stairs to get to my room - which is an issue as I have difficulty walking and I booked the hotel on the strength it had a 'lift to all floors'. The front of the dressing table in my room was badly damaged and splintered which could be considered a hazard. The hotel looks better on the internet than in real life. It is verytired and in need of total refurbishment. The rooms are very oldfashioned and improvement is required for a central london hotel. Rooms are very small. Stair and room Carpet very stained and grubby, Curtains grubby. I think the hotel should inform people that they are opposite a very busy and noisy building site which is likely to be there for a few more years. Rooms are really small but managable, but the furnishings really nead an upgrade as they are very old and shabby. The beeding could also do with an upgrade. the bathroom. room size, standard of decor/bathroom facilities. room had not been properly cleaned since 24/09 evidenced by the pay slip, along with a wig, panty hose and a condom under the bed, night manager was rude and unhelpful. *very* small room (ca. 7 sq.meters), shower in bad conditions, water pressure in water pipe was close to zero. No air conditioning. My room was beside the kitchen and an smell of curry was very obvious and uncomfortable. Very noisy from very early hours in the kitchen and I couldn't sleep properly as i was obligated to wake up when the kitchen stats operating.. bad experience....the room was very hot and didn't have air conditioning, although a fan was provided in the room it was very noisey and so a restless night was had!! I asked for an ironing board at reception and was told to come and collect it. But that was really any hardship to be honest just not quite the service you expect when your paying £100 a night!!.
