The room was warm, comfortable and it was worth the money for just one night stay. It was also located really close to the underground tube station which made it really accessible. . Cheap bed - was central. Helpful staff. The fact that there was someone there at all times - no matter what time you came home (some of the tours we took advantage of did not return us home until 9.30pm at night.) The Hotel was in close proximity to everything that we wanted.all reviews »
Location. Convenient location, good price, fair sized room, pleasant staff. The Reception was cordial, 24-hour entry was without problem, it was satisfactorily-warm, it is conveniently-situated. The hotel staff was polite.nothing much, it was dirty and noisy and the other guests were disgusting. Website does not state, but if you pay by card at the hotel, you have to pay a £3 charge extra. Also it would be nice to know that the hotel is nearer to Pimlico station than Victoria station. It is very basic but for the cheap price I can't complain, I just needed a bed. The climb of four flights of stairs. Noise from guests in room next door, unable to turn heating down. It needs remedial work on surfaces and drains to remove unpleasent smells and mould growth in the bathroom and some internal structural improvements (replacing loose panels, worn carpet). In spite of my reservation (and notice of late arrival), there were no rooms left when I arrived! I had to sleep in some closet. Well, in practice I couldn't sleep in those conditions, since the "room" was cold, damp, smelly and the street noises were disturbing.i didn't like the room, i didn't like the bathroom, i didn't like the stairs which were filthy... i think it was an overall health hazard.
