I am very pleased with the relation quality of services - price. The location of the hotel is perfect, situated in the lively Camden area, 2 steps away from the subway. The room I stayed was clean, new furniture, comfortable bed and very important clean bed sheets and clean bathroom. Last but not least very friendly staff. I'll definetly stay there again when I will travel to London. It was a nice sized room for the price I paid. The cleanliess was of a high standard. TV in the room. Coffee and tea. Towels.

Nothing about the hotel itself was negative but the pub on the opposite corner had loud music playing until 1am on the Friday and Saturday nights, as well as a noisy clientele outside the premises. This was not a problem on other nights. If this is a problem, request a room at the back of the hotel, where it is quiet.Beds needed more pillows. Very noisy pub on the other side of the street, but open only during weekend. The toilet plums were not at a good shape.No double glazing - ear plugs needed due to noisy main road. Someone's shaving razor was in the shower. Staircase looked quite tattered, but was happy with my room.Water temprature in shower is very unstabil. Sometimes only cold water, sometimes only hot water. Very noisy with windows open - which we had to have open because it wasvery very hot !. There is some street noise due to the pub across the street and thinwalls/windows, but it quiets down eventually. Only one pillow, which was a bit grubby, so take your own pillow / pillowcase.The shower was tepid, no shampoo and no lift to the top floor. Quite noisy at night - it was summer so window open and lots of early street noise woke me, but then it is central London!. bathroom was a bit untidy-tiles off the walls. The room was small and basic, but bright and clean.Bathroom was small. The shower seemed to have one setting - hot and weak.Breakfast finishes at 9! This is not really a problem but I was still in bed :). My room was at the front of the hotel and was very noisy because of the pub below and the traffic.I would ask for a room at the back next time.Unfortunately, due to the location, even rooms at the back suffer very loud noise until the early hours. Room was a little hot.No light on celiling- just side lamp!"!!. No hairdryer in the room as stated and I had to share with a friend.though the pillow are a little hard and you can hear all the noise out side make it hard to sleep. Only small beakfast area, would prefer breakfast made to order, onlyever been buffet style when ive stayed there...also no lift at all, whatabout diabled access????. Change of towels once every 2 days!! No Shampoo!! Could change main entrance stairway carpet - gives bad first impression... but the rest is all good. Noisy area (only to be expected). Window did not shut in first room but once we had moved the room was great.

Travelling information

By underground: The nearest underground station is Chalk Farm (on the Northern line, Edgware Branch). We are approximately 1 minute's walk from the station. When you come out of the station turn left and you will be able to see the hotel. The entrance is in Crogsland Road. BY ROAD: FROM THE NORTH: From the M1 take the North Circular Eastbound A406, then follow the signs towards Swiss Cottage (Finchley Road). Once at Swiss Cottage, turn left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town onto Adelaide Road. When you reach the end of the road you come onto Chalk Farm Road. You can see the hotel from there, but as it is on a one-way system, you need to take the 2nd left. At the traffic lights turn left and then left again into Crogsland Road - the hotel is at the end of the road just before the traffic lights, on the left-hand side. FROM THE SOUTH: Join the M25 clockwise towards Heathrow, then join the M1 and follow the route as above. FROM THE EAST: Join the M25 and travel anti-clockwise, then join the M1 and follow the route from the North. PARKING: Free parking is available from 6.30pm - 8.30am. Monday to Friday meter parking during the day is charged at 1.00 pound for 50 minutes. Daily parking is 9.50 GBP for 24 hour secure parking (Camden Town Parking) on weekends, free parking is available in certain areas - please ask at reception for more information.
