The room was a good size and had a fantastic view out directly on to Camden High Street. When the window was closed there was very little noise which was surprising considering how busy Camden High street is. The room had obviously been redecorated recently and was clean. There was ample cupboard space for hanging clothing. The staff were friendly and processed our check in quickly and efficiently. I will be staying here again.
all reviews » The location was excellent. It was right next to Camden tube station and the markets were literally outside the door. The hostel was relatively clean and although I had initially booked a room with a share bathroom, we were given a room with an ensuite. The service was very friendly. The price was very affordable. Couldn't have been happier. Just wanted a cheap place to stay for a night out in camden, and this was ideal. Location can't be beaten, staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful, very basic facilities but just what you need for a place to rest your head and clean up in the morning!. I loved the location being right on Camden high street was perfect, the door was clearly labelled so I could find it easily even at night. I was able to check in late and the staff were friendly. The room was small but comfortable and I was able to check out at my leisure. Friendly and accommodating staff, very clean and comfortable room, decent shower, great location right on Camden High Street and they let is keep our bags there after we checked out so we could go sightseeing. Location - right in the heart of everything. Off to the bars and you can crawl home. Two minute walk to Tube. The ensuite bathroom was newly installed and clean. Great location, great price, bed was comfortable, staff didn't have any problems with us setting up our travel bed for our 2-year-old daughter. Also the doors do not shut all the way unless you slam them very hard so you end up hearing slamming doors around the clock. I would definitely stay here again but would bring earplugs. £60 for the night in top location, just rang doorbell outside and was given key. No messing about and no fuss. Just where we wanted to be which was in the heart of Camden. The staff which comprised of a guy in a suit who welcomed us, and a cleaner/house keeper who seemed to adopt many roles within the business both friendly and accommodating to our needs given that the place was being renovated as we walked through the front door which was random. Due to the bedroom having "no TV" the guy in the suit reduced our cost of the room which w. The general position was excellent as long as you didn't wish to retire to bed too early as it was very noisy and you wished to get up early due to traffic noise. We were pleased to be only stopping for 4 nights. The truth is, you get what you pay for and in this respect they did deliver. Just location – 3 minutes walk from Camden Town Underground and Electric Ballroom where I had visited the concert. - friendly staff - clean, decent room. Location, the room was ok too. Nice and friendly welcome. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room however we were told we could go downstairs for complimentary tea/coffee if we wanted to. The bathroom was tiny, and more like a cupboard even though it had a sink, toilet and shower in. However for a single night's stay this is really all we needed. I was pleased with the accommodation. However, there was a strong smell of paint in the room. I presume this was from recent renovations. Apart from this, everything was good. Customers must take into mind too, that because of the central location, that there is a relative amount of noise and light which will come from the high street. (Although this did not bother me). It was slightly noisy with the window open but this is to be expected given the location. A little difficult to find as the door is kind of hidden. Being right on the high street it can of course be a bit noisy but we found it perfectly bearable. Very small room but to just about move. If you book this "hotel" just go with the idea that this is simply somewhere to sleep and wash and you'll be fine. The shower curtain fell down and we had trouble getting it back up (and didn't know where any staff were to fix it). Yes it's noisy but that's because it is located on Camden High Street!. Nothing. room was hot. the crowded street below was noisy after midnight and so I had to keep the window closed; of course a high noise level is to be expected in a tourist-magnet location. I very unhappy about this. price for what you get. price for what you get. high street noise on Saturday night and the need to have windows open because of the heat, combined to cause fitful sleep. It transpired that our room in fact had no electricity in it whatsoever which became difficult when needing to charge our phones/use straighteners etc...however we were given the option to move rooms. The alternative room had a shared bathroom so we stayed put and used the staff room/tea laundry room for electric. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay because we weren't in the place that long we were too busy having a good time in Camden and Shoreditch to care :) x. Very noisy postion on Camden High Street. Bathroom described as "personal use" used by others! No housekeeping that we could see. Coffee/teamaking facilities/fridge were in fact located in a kitchen shared by all other guests. The room was too small, no any hanger at all. Before I could check-in I had to wait for 30 minutes while I managed to get inside the hotel... - too much noise on the street at night - too hot in the room but opening the window during the night was no option since the neighborhood is very noisy (drunk people shouting). The walls were paper thin so I could hear everything going in the adjacent rooms very clearly! No soap in the room, one small hand towel - no bath towel. Staff didnt looked informed about our reservation. Renovation of the hotel still ongoing. I have ruined my jumper when accidentally touched a fresh painted door (with no sign attached warning me).
