  The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location.   We stayed at 2 bedroomed apartment at 7 Johnson terrace! Location, location, location - castle, royal mile & grassmarket on you door step! Would definitely recommend for - We stayed in apartment 11 on the third floor. The view was incredible of St. Giles Cathedral. The location superb two blocks from the castle. Many restaurants and shops on the royal mile. Many tourists but inside the apartment calm and relaxing. A bit of noise at night as shops and restaurants were cleaning up and ghost tours ending but by 11pm all went quiet until about 7am. We enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything including Waverly train station.

  Great to have so much space. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting at the widow "people watching" on the royal mile. A perfect location. would highly recommend it - Easy to get to, extremly comfy, clean and lots of little extras you dont get in a hotel.
