The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location. With this in mind I will be using this hotel again for future visits to Edinburgh. Interesting food in Tapas style bar. Excellent breakfast buffet with good range of healthy options. Room was nice with comfortable bed. Leisure club and pool with sauna very convenient also.
all reviews » We were upgraded to a Business Class room at check-in. The room was spotless, modern and completely perfect for our needs. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Good location, easy efficient service at reception, smart clean good size rooms and beds at a fair price oh and room service was very quick and good. I am a Radisson fan and this one is as good as the others I've been to. Very clean, good food, great staff. The hotel also has parking facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. Location excellent. Would definitely stay here again.The helpful concierge staff, help with internet connections, help with baggage. I loved my stay there and the staff even went out there way, because, as a result of arriving late to check I asked if it was possible to stay longer the following day before checking out and the hotel obliged with out hesitation. It was brilliantly positioned for viewing around the city on The Royal Mile. You can use the gym, sauna and pool facilities at no extra cost. As we had a later flight we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel once we had checked out so no to have to carry it round. Would definately go again.I was having to stay at the hotel because my flight was cancelled due to bad weather. The staff at the hotel did their upmost to find me phone chargers and various other more obscure things that I didn't have because I wasn't planning to stay. They were excellent. The self-evidence of services, can really recommend the business room arrangments for that. Significant detail: at breakfast the second day the 'recipe' for the hot chocolate of my son was changed because he didn't like it the first day.The staff were very helpful and pleasant, the room was comfartable and clean and the breakfast was excellent, I do not have any room for complaint and would most certainly use the hotel on my next visit. The Radisson SAS Hotel Edinburgh is right in the middle of everything. We parked the car in their private parking and walked everywhere, to sightsee, to dinner, to the bars.Rooms were lovley and maintained well, Staff were very helpful andpolite. Great location in the centre of the city. Very comfortable good location easy parking when i found it unobtrusive staff generally a very pleasant experience. Some noise at night when the bars were closing. None. during our stay at the raddison,on check in we were allocated our room however when we went up to our room we discovered that it was a family room with just a door to seperate the two rooms the person in the other room was a business man and we could hear every conversation he had at very early times in the morning. we found this a little disturbing and got it hard to sleep. Just a recommandation. The zip code of the hotel guides you to the parking garage at the back with access to all floors of the hotel. This is superb, but it takes some boyscouting to find the right directions, a simple sheet of paper at the reception would make a difference (and also remind you of the special rates for hotel guests).Generally the room was clean (though carpets were a little grubby) but the bathroom was not. There was a good deal of build-up of black mould around the bath/shower grouting and fittings. I complained and this was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. However, this is not the standard one would expect from a hotel like the Radisson. I wonder if ours was the only bathroom to be in this condition. The price of breakfast. So easy to eat out elsewhere.breakfast very expensive (£15.50) so ate elsewhere. reception was very busy on check in and check out, standing in line is never a good way to spend time.There could have been more information on what was on in the hotel. The AC was noisy. The 5th floor did not have AC working.the hotel itself was lovely however the spa facilities were a little dissapointing in comparison to other raddison sas hotels. Rooms too hot even with air conditioning but that is probably mypersonal prefrence as my husband was fine.

The newly refurbished restaurant serves a breakfast buffet with over 120 different dishes from Scandinavia, the continent and North America, as well as a traditional English breakfast.
