The apartments were excellent, centrally located, nice big rooms with en-suite, central heating. Would be excelent for a weekend self-catering break as full kitchen facilities!! Can also come as you like with no curfews. Would stay again!!. The facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. everything...beautiful decorations, strategic locations, very very helpful staff, fully equiped rooms and facilities (cutleries, kitchen utensils, washing machine, pots and pans etc). The appartments were very central just a short walk from shops clubspubs secure parking (which had to be paid for seperatly) but theappartments were very nice and private. location and the rooms were lovely and the staff were really friendly, al definetly be staying here again. It would have been helpful to have the use of a hoover. Also a hair dryer. It was not said on the booking form about having to pay for parking andthe windows dident open fully. Cots hoos needed in corridor and in a bathroom... Lift access was slow, small and difficult when cleaners were using it too. Security at front door - when I left, the door was ajar, so quite easy for someone to walk into reception area and lifts. I would have felt safer with 24 hour concierge or security on site. No real downside, area around the apartment slightly seedy but good location in terms of city centre. the water was not consistently hot - a bit of nuisance on cold days. The TV was not working properly - sound kept disappearing and in the end packed up. Not sure if it is programmed in some way - but had to be tuned in when we arrived. That was annoying. did not like the fact that when we checked out had to wait about 20 mins for staff to check our room dont have a problem as such but there should have been more than one member of staff on duty the couple in front of me were on the 4th floor so the man at the reception desk had to go all the way up there and check the room and then come all the way back down then check them out before got to me. the service at the reception. No fresh towels had to use the same ones over and over.Oven could have been cleaner. Trying to find it was very difficult. Not easily visible from street. Tiny sign on a busy street in the dark. When called for directions got passed around and directions given were not that helpful. Eventually found the place after much frustration and driving round in circles!. could have offered a greater quantity of toiletries in bathroom. not knowing until I arrived that I would need to block £200 on my credit card. Was unaware of this when I booked and credit card was loaded up anyway due to paying for room and just prior to bill being due. Were not aware that we were totally self-catering in that we were only supplied with 2 hand and 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay. This should be made clearer on the hotel facilities.We did not like how you need to give £200 guarentee for the room on arrival . As i only have a debit card and not a credit card it would have taken 7 days to clear where as a credit card would have cleared the day of departure so we as to hand over the money in cash which we got on departure after our apartment was checked on check out.You are given the terms andconditions when you arrive to checkin. the check out time of 10 O'clock was far too early. especially if your supposed to be on a relaxing break and then you had to spend the entire day out before leaving for a long journey home. not impressed at all with this. Tin opener didn't work, TV remote dodgy ... But generally good. Location. It is just opposite the car park, which is very noisy. Late check out was available but charged at £10 per hour. In addition, it was possible to leave bags after check out but this was charged at an additional £2.50 per bag. This is appalling as it adds an extra lump sum onto the total cost. I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere, where this has been standard practice before and as a result would not stay there again. Was a little noisy at times. Poor maintainance socket in living room defective light bulb in dinning area blown and faulty and curtain rails falling out of ceiling all discussed with staff but nothing done. Dirty Carpets. would have liked a bar. Good shower but shower head too low for tall people. View of multi-storey car park and bright lighting.reception is only open 8.00am till 8.00pm to use the gym you need to get a card from reception which they make you return each time, for a working person its difficult. Also on my last day when getting ready all the lights when out (blown fuse) reception seemed very nonchalant and informed me the fuse box is in the cupboard. The list of rules given to you on check in, the endless list of charges that you will incurr if yu are to noisey, or check out late, or request for more tea and coffee for your room. It felt like I was back in boarding school!!!!.
