As always, we enjoyed the proximity to Gatwick, the quality of service and the ambience. I would also mark out the honesty and helpfulness of the housekeeping staff, who looked after a gold ring I left behind inadvertently at the hotel at the end of my stay. The Sofitel London Gatwick was highly recommended by friends of ours who use it when they are travelling from London to the States. We found the location very, very convenient to our BA flight the following morning leaving from Gatwick.

I know i used visa electron but i would have easilied paid extra other than they could not take imprint of that card everything was excellent. no shower cap!. Perhaps more choice in menues in the restaurants. The new security regarding the elevator to the room floor seems a bit complicated for no reason. Anyone can get to anyfloor without a room key. They need to find someother effective soloution.No smoking area. Arriving by car with too much luggage and struggling to find my way up to reception. room temperature too hot.
