Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland.   Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. Breakfast each morning was brilliant and had a nice choice of a fry or continental. The location is a bit outside the city centre (about £8-10 for a taxi at night) but during the day there ... what people say » is a bus literally right outside the door. The chef even gave us change for the bus - The room was spacious, lovely big bed, bathroom was fab, very clean and very comfortable.The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.
