What people say
Starting from travel from airport to apartment, we got a bus from airport which dropped us on Princess Street and the apartment was hardly 4-5 minutes’ walk. Even with luggage and young kids, it was easy to manage to reach from princess street to Queens Street where apartment was located. Secondly, all what has been shown on booking .com was available in the apartment.
Apartment is spacious, big 2 rooms, big living room with window opening on Queens Street and nice kitchen. Cleanliness, nice c. all reviews »
When we arrived, I had my login in number incorrect. We were immediately
assisted by a very friendly person on the other side of the intercom.
When we got into the apartment, it took our breath away. It is
absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect. I will always stay there
when visiting Edinburgh. It is highly recommended for self catering.
Cannot get better. We loved it!.
The apartment was immaculate, comfortable, stylish and spacious. Staff
helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at their office as we
arrived early. We also got to check in early. Beds were so comfortable
and we all got good sleeps. The location is fabulous, so handy for all
the sights. Just great!.
Keyless entry makes check in and checkout convenient. The location is great for exploring the city. The washing machine was broken on our arrival but when we called about it they arranged to have our laundry picked up and dropped off in a very timely manner. The apartment is beautiful.
A lovely apartment, with high ceilings, large windows and good clean kitchen facilities. Lovely views out over the Queens St gardens, so not overlooked. Near enough to the city centre for everything to be walk-able but still quiet at night, and surrounded by bars, restaurants and cafes.
It is the absolutely the best apartment I have ever lived for travelling. It is spacious (bedroom, living room, kitchen, toilet), well decorated and clean. The entrance system is very easy and safe. The location is perfect. I would highly recommend this apartment to every one!.
The apartment was wonderful. It was light an airy and maintained beautifully. It was within walking distance of the sights of Edinburgh and close to lovely restaurants around George Street.
Stuart was attentive to our every inquiry. We wish we would have stayed longer.
The residence was perfect for us (a couple with a four year old). The flat was spotless, the checkin procedure was effortless, and the location is superb - close to lots of restaurants and shops. The kitchen was very well equipped and we were very comfortable here.
The location was ideal for seeing both new and old Edinburgh. The flat
was clean and had many desirable amenities: wifi, washer/dryer, hob,
refrigerator & microwave. When we needed something, the staff were
accommodating and professional.
The location was ideal. The flat itself was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the fact it had 2 bathrooms. Great for leaving luggage prior and after check in/out. Using code for entry was easy-did not need to worry about keys.
Beautiful, convenient and spacious apartment. Felt so at home in a clean minimalistic way. Lovely location close to tourist sites, shops and restaurants. Easy checkinnand checknout. Would go back ther anytime.
Great Location, helpfull staff, apartment easy to access.
Couldn't wish for better. Stayed in many cities, not had the comfort and space of accommodation as we had here in Edinburgh, with Destiny Q apartments.
Very big apartment, with 2 nice bathrooms, a compelte kitchen, very clean, rooms well distributed, located in a very calm area facing a big park, at 5 minutes walking to the main streets and Edinburgh castle.
I was very impressed with the location- it was so near to all of Edinburgh's famous attractions. I was also very impressed with the apartment-large rooms, beautifully decorated, and very clean.
Everything was superb. Quality and location were perfect. The gentleman I spoke to several times at your office , could not have been more helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Great luxurious facilities. Checking in was so easy and it was really good that we didn't need a key-using a keypad instead to enter. Staff were accommodating.
location near some great restaurants, especially Chez Jules in Hanover Street; close to main places of interest and really friendly vibe.
Amazing apartment, great value, excellent location, very modern
apartment with authentic Scottish touches. Nearly perfect in every way!.
getting the upgrade because our original apartment was not available
The place we got was amazing and it provided a great experience.
The apartment is really roomy and the style of the interior is good. Also, it's very convenient to do the check-in and check-out.
Beautifull and comfort luxury apartment. We enjoyed every minute of our staying and plan to visit again. Location is excellent.
Excellent location.
Nice big two bedroom apartment.
Good value between three people. They provided a travel cot for our baby.
lovely apartment and location
awesome fireplace (electric)
great beds
very roomy, lots of space
has a nice feel and view.
The accommodation was superb. Everything was ready for us when we arrived ad the location could not have been better.
The apartments were spacious, luxurious, well appointed and equipped and perfect for our stay in Edinburgh.
Beautiful apartments, spacious luxurious with all necessary utilities supplied. Excellent location.
Location, space, amenities, comfort. Beautiful spot, we would stay there again instantly!!!.
The accommodation was excellent. The location couldn't be bettered for seeing Edinburgh.
Location is amazing. The apartment was very well set up, quiet (in the back) and secure.
Clean and spacious, refurbished and modern. Few basics provided. Hassle free.
Good staff, convenient check in, clean, spacious, fast wifi, value of money.
Location; staff; comfort. The apartment was perfect; I wanted to live there.
Luxury apartment
Good guidance of use of facilities
Location was very good.
Spacious
well decorated

location ideal.
comfortable beds, windows open,
friendly staff, decor beautiful,.
Absolutely everything!. Clean, luxury and huge room in apartment.
Convenient location, large lounge and kitchen. Comfortable beds.
customer friendly, generous size, clean and excellent location.
The space, the price, the locality, the links, the amenities!.
the comfort, quietude, space and layout of the appartment.
stayed in apartment
immediate acccess to centre of city.
plenty of room. Good city centre position. Parking.
The location is excellent for a city centre break.
Fully equiped kitchen, big apartment.
the atmosphere is wonderfull.
Feeling of luxury and stile.
Evrything was great.
Close to everything.
Design and lay-out of Apt.
There is nothing to be disliked.
There was no hairdryer. Probably an oversight. I would imagine if I had
called the office they would have supplied one, but we just did without!.
Silly little niggles, such as the entrance lobby light bulb had blown, so our first impressions were dented, and the dinner plates supplied didn't fit the dishwasher, so had to be washed by hand, except there wasn't a tea towel to dry them. Having the windows washed at 7:30AM was a bit of a shock too.
Absolutely nothing!.
No elevator for older people like us!.
Although we were permitted to drop our bags at their office, it is about the same distance away from the train station but in the other direction - so not exactly convenient. Probably a £5-6 taxi ride from the flat, which is what I would recommend. It would be nice if an on-site storage option were available.
We had asked for additional bedding for the sofa bed and it was not
there the 1st night. They did bring it for the second night. I was told
the charges would be credited for the bedding and they still have not
been at the time of this review. The 4 flights of stairs with no lift is
not for the faint of heart. I'm in good shape, but if you have some
luggage, or leave the flat a lot to see the city, this can become
daunting quickly.
There was nothing we didnt like, it was a great place to stay.
Nothing, all Good.
moquette almost everywhere, but this is a common problem in the UK!.
Not much- I would probably say the bedding-quilt cover- in my room needed replacing (it was a bit 'bobbly'). Otherwise I couldn't fault the place.
Nothing all was perfect!.
There's no lifts, which won't be an issue for most but was for us as I was pregnant travelling with my elderly parents. However, the people did state that they could send someone over to help, but we didn't think there wasn't that many flight of stairs. For those who may struggle, ask for the lower floors.
A bit short on cutlerly although sufficient for our needs. Couldn't get the gas fire to work but then I'm a bit of a technophobe!.
No hairdryer and with no reception it was difficult to get one
(didn't end up happening) but a small complaint considering how
outstanding the stay was overall.
check-in was later than we would have liked.
We stayed for five days but our towels were never changed.
Kitchen was not clean. More plates would have been useful. The rubbish was never emptied (a requirement when you have a 7 month old baby!).
One of the apartments was in a different building which was a little disappointing but worse the code for our apartments let us Into someone else's accommodation. 3 of our party went to their apartment at 12pm having had diner with us. They accidentley went to apartment two Instead of three and gained access with our code. They awoke another couple who were asleep in bed. This was quite distressing for all involved.
Absolutely nothing.
Nothing.
Dust behind sofa and the stairs.
The toilets had not been cleaned and there was no parking.
The bedrooms could benefit from curtains to cover the existing roman blinds, as the rooms were quite light. Minor discomfort.
Room is very large, but no enough furniture.
It took my time to realize how organized the interaction was, but later appreciated it.
wasps - may be nest nearby kept coming in to appt.
doors slam when other visitors are leaving building, could not figure out washer/dryer and no instructions.
Decor austerely minimal, central location offset by terrible noise at night as bars/pubs emptied at 3/4am - take earplugs! Particularly if you are using the lounge sofa bed. No parking - I suggest using one of the out-of-town park and rides, several allow upto 7 days free overnight parking (see the Edinburgh city council website).
The noisy family staying in the apartment above running around and making noise.
needing to pay an extesive sum for parking - this may inhibit me from making a future booking.
No details of parking facilities/limitations
bulbs to lighting missing/broken
insufficient toilet paper-had to buy
windows need maintenance.
Only 4 mugs for a 2 bedroom apartment
Somebody was in our booked parking spot (despite all the signs threatening towing, clamping etc.), we had to wait at least 1/2 hour before we could park.
No lift, problem in taking the luggages upstairs where floors have very high ceiling. Many of the light bulbs of the apartment are burnt out and so the apartment appeared very dark in general. No light over dining table.
no lifts.
Very strict check in check out procedures.
Parking - lack OF!!!!This was a real problem, as there was no advice
given as to where nearest, reasonably priced parking was on website -
just said No Parking.
