Staff very helpful, we left our bags in hotel until check-in and were able to have late check out for only £20 extra. Breakfast on go great idea and great value for money. Will definately be back as perfect for train station and shopping. Hotel is very clean and rooms are lovely. All staff very helpful and we even had our evening meal in bar which was good value too. Hope to be back soon and will book into Jurys Inn Hotels in other parts of country if possible, big thank's for lovely stay.
all reviews » The location was fantasic, only 3 mins walk from everything. The bar man was lovely and the rooms were large with comfortable beds. Excellent hotel would definatly stay again!. everything! talking to staff, laying in the amazingly comfortable bed in the amazingly clean room. how close it was to the city centre and everything else was just perfect. nice and clean room free shampoo and conditioner nice decor close to local atractions staff very freindly this is my second trip to the hotel and i will be going back again. It is just off the Royal Mile and in the most perfect location for walking around the city. Will visit Edinburgh again soon and will stay again at Jury's Inn!. Staff were exellent. Very freindly and helpfull. Rooms were clean and well maintained. At this price, I will definately consider Jurys in again.Excellent location for bus transfers from airport, the royal mile, shopping, good food and pubs. Staff were friendly and bar was open late. At first you would think location is horrible until you get out and see the town then you realize how great the location is. however the hotel should provide vending machines.The location is perfect: right below the Royal Mile and next to the central station and the bus stop to/from the airport. Room very clean.The staff were pleasant and helpful.The room was well taken care of and clean. i could not think of any improvments, it was the best weekend break i have ever had, and the perfect time for it with the christmas markets around the corner from the hotel.Would have been good to have long stay parking closer to the hotel, but concidering the location, I know this was not possible. only the old style TV but that's a very small point.Only thing wrong was being in the front we heard the trains all night. But got used to it. There was quite a lot of traffic noise. we had a rear room which looked out onto waste ground which was very rough and untidy and not nice to look out onto. Did not inform me about their facility for subsidised parking. Only one downside,which could not have been helped, Youngsters having a rowdy time of it (the walls are rather thin) in the next room,but hey so what !!!!!. Breakfast was not included.The problem was that I booked two rooms and it almost happened that our friend was on completely different floor. Luckily it was possible to have rooms close to each other, although not next to each other. I thought once you book two rooms it is common sense to put them next to each other. No car park. Breakfast mediocre.not enough pillows, tv remote didn't work, the walls were ridiculously thin. didnt like tray service would of preferred room service. breakfast not included/expensive food. I would have liked a pen and paper in the room.....clearer display of food obtainableoutside mealtimes..times of meals to be displayed in room..perhaps a biscuit or two to have with a cup of tea.staff could have been a little more friendly. We could smell cigarette smoke when retiring to bed, and as an asthma suffers, the smell lingered all night. Some one must have been smoking in room 218 before we arrived.N/A. breakfast - on the Saturday the dining area was understaffed and tables not cleared. Had to wait at least 15 minutes for fruit platter to be replenished.

- It is a 10 minute walk from the bus station to the hotel.
- Turn left down St. Andrews Square onto Princes Street, cross the road to Princess Mall and walk down Waverley Bridge.
- Turn left at the roundabout onto Market Street and walk past Edinburgh Dungeons (on the left hand side).
- When you reach the fork in the road, take the right fork (Jeffrey Street) and the hotel is 100 yards up on the right hand side.

By Public Transport (from Edinburgh International Airport – 8 miles):
- It takes 25 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi or bus.
- Take the number 100 airport bus which leaves every 10 minutes outside departures. - Alight at the final stop on Waverley Bridge.
- Walk down Waverley Bridge and turn left at the roundabout onto Market Street.
- Walk past Edinburgh Dungeons (on the left hand side) and when you reach the fork in the road, take the right fork (Jeffrey Street).
- The hotel is 100 yards up on the right hand side.

From Waverley Train Station (1/8 mile):
- It is just a 5 minute walk from the station to the hotel.
- Exit via Market Street, cross the road onto Jeffrey Street and the hotel is 100 yards up on the right hand side.
