Just 150 metres from Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, these apartments are 8 minutes’ walk from Waverley Rail Station. Individual rooms are available, sharing the apartment kitchen and bathrooms, or it is possible to rent a whole apartment. There is free Wi-Fi access in all areas.

It was not a hotel. A hostel is different, more basic in facilities, asthis one was. It was somewhere to stay for a short time. Make it clear that rooms are not en-suite as I thought we had a toiletand shower in the room and expected to go along the corridor for a bath,this was not the case and there wasn't even a bath to share just oneshower between 5 rooms. Also the floors were ridiculously creaky. Ourdoor handle was broken and there was no safe in the room either. Roomwas not as described at all.

By Foot:
From Waverley Station (approximately 10-12 minutes walk):
Take Market Street exit. Turn to your left under the bridge and head right up Jeffrey Street. Carry on and cross over the High Street (Royal Mile) onto St Mary's Street. Walk down the hill and turn right into Cowgate and continue for about 200 metres. The reception is at Kindcaid's Court located on the left-hand side, corner of Guthrie Street and Cowgate.
Alternatively from Waverly Station, you can take a right at the Market Street exit. Turn right up Cockburn Street, over the Royal Mile and down Blair Street to Cowgate. Turn right into Cowgate and the hostel entrance is on Guthrie Street, the first street on your left.
From St. Andrew's Bus Station:
Head to Princes Street and then to North Bridge. Walk along North Bridge, across the Royal Mile and continue along South Bridge. Turn right into Chambers Street and then right again into Guthrie Street. The entrance to the hostel is located at the bottom of Guthrie Street on the left-hand side.
