i have stayed in many blackpool hotels and i can say 100% this is the best by far,i don't understand how people on here can give this hotel any less than 10 out of 10, the owners have only been there just 6 months and will bend over backwards to please you,what do people want for this kind of money, the ritz! please ignore the bad reviews you will love it, see you all soon, i'll be back soon xxxx.

The beds seemed very old which made them slightly uncomfortable and creaky.The postition of the shower door made it difficult to close. The room was tiny. Single table was very small for amount of breakfast involved, especially as I was the only guest on the second morning of my stay, and therefore all the bigger tables were vacant. However, this was the only small fault that I could find during the whole stay. lack of parking. rooms a bit cramped for a double. room we occupied was on the small side and the double bed didn't seem full size. stairs very dark health and safety issue. the beds were uncomfortable and bedroom condiments were not replenished. The room was not clean out, tea bags and milk was not replemished and also the bed was not freshly made up on Monday.

Information about the area

Situated opposite the hotel, Blackpool’s South Pier was opened in 1893 and today houses an amusement complex with fairground rides.

Just a short walk away from the hotel is the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This popular amusement park has a mixture of traditional wooden rides, modern steel roller-coasters, small family rides, highly-advanced thrill rides and generations-old rides still in original working order. Entrance to this popular attraction is free; you just pay for the rides that you go on.

Also within walking distance from the hotel is Blackpool Pleasure Beach railway station, providing regular train connections to and from Blackpool and Preston.

Travelling information

By Car (from the M6):
- Exit the M6at junction 32 and proceed onto the M55.
- Stay on the M55 for about 14 miles and exit at junction 4 (A5230).
- Stay on the dual carriageway following signs for South Shore and turn right at the T-junction.
- Join the promenade and bear right at the 1st pier into Station Road and the hotel is located on the left hand side.

Parking:
To be guaranteed a parking space, we have recently negotiated parking with a secure lock up facility 150 yards from our hotel. You can make a reservation to park when booking (at an additional cost).
