The location, central with good cheap public transport close by. The bed and room. Beautifully decorated and the bed large and very comfortable with a proper continental quilt and cover. A well equipped kitchen that was important to me as I had already spent 11days in a hotel with meals and I wanted something different to eat. Wonderful restaurants and shops just around the corner. all reviews » The best thing about this hotel is its owner .. Mr. Mahmood. He is one of the most polite, kind, friendly & helpful person I have come across. Whatever your problem may be, he's always ready to help. He arranges tours, gives genuine advice about where to go & where not to go & at the time of checkin makes you familiar with the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean & well designed. The rooms are appropriately sized & in good condition. There is a self service kitchen at the r. Beyoglou house it's an excellent choice for your trip to Instabul! It's located in the center of the city, close enough to the transportation system and next to your most needs like shopping, food, nightlife etc. As regards the service, the room was daily cleaned without any inconvenience, the staff was very polite and helpful in our questions and the free terrace area for breakfast and cafe was an extra pleasure! Overall it's my personal best hotel choise among other trips abroad, for the sum . Very clean, new and fresh design. The room with balcony is spacious and very comfortable, the bathroom pretty. Great location between Taksim and Galata Tour, 2 min. to Istiklal. From Airport Shuttle Bus Stop at Taksim Square 15 min. by walk, by Taxi max.10 TL. Very very close to many bars and restaurants, so a bit noisy on weekend nights but an ear protector solve the problem. Good laundry service, low price. The hotel was family owned and run but despite the strong family feel about the place we, as a couple of young friends searching for fun, had a great time staying there. The hotel terrace is open to all visitors at all hours and it stocked with coffee and tea and all sorts of munchies. The fridge is open to use. Rooms are quite small, but very nice and cleaned every day (towels, soap/shampoo replaced every day). There's also tv conveniently put on the wall, but it's a waste of time to watch it while being in istanbul. Every guest is allowed to use the terrace and kitchen on the upper floor, where you can relax after a long day with a free coffee/tea and play tavla. I highly recommend it!. The hotel is literally next to Balo street, the only street in Constantinople that never sleeps! I can verify that's true! :-). The staff and the owner were very friendly. The sleepless street can get a bit noisy at night. All the hotels I stayed in Istanbul have slow wifi connections. Beyoglu did better than the most, but it is definitely one area the hotel could improve and stay ahead of competition. Due to some clubs in the direct neighborhood it can get quite noisy in the room. In addition the rooms at the back of the house have a window but this is more or less unnecessary as no natural light enters due to the fact that the next building is very close. Very noisy outside all night, especially on weekends. Closed windows don't help and it's hard to sleep sometimes. Location is in place where outside is going on parties all night long and it was too loud if you want to sleep even if windows are closed. Very noisy at night as close to clubs. A bit noisy at night. My GPS broke and it was very difficult to locate the street from the Hotel, we need to hire a taxi driver, because the language was also a barrier. On the other hand the people were very solicitous. One suggestion would be to improve local indication and the city. not easy locatoin. To nozy at nights. Loud music up to 3 hours. It's very difficult to get a sleep.
