The atmosphere was pleasant, with friendly and helpful staff. The decor was excellent - modern, but with a twist. I liked the jazz angle - lovely jazz-related art on the walls, smooth jazz playing for breakfast. A very well-maintained hotel - I had a large room with excellent power rainshower. It was very close to the Congress Centre for my conference and also close to a Metro station for travel into the other parts of the city.

If you like Jazz paraphenilia, this hotel is a "museum" of photos, CDs and books about Jazz and jazz muscians. The hotel was very quiet as few guests seem to be there at the time we were there. The public transportation is very accessable ( Osmanbey metro) and it's easy to get to the main sites in Istanbul. Very nice boutique hotel with decoration related to Jazz bands and singers. Good comfort and good service. The hotel is in a quiet street but cafes, shops and the underground are only 3 mn walking. Unlike other customers here, I would say that breakfast is really ok, maybe just a bit below regular Turkish standard. The location was perfect. Right next to all the main shopping of Nisantasi, but slightly away so the price was more reasonable.The ladies at breakfast were very sweet and helpful. Nice shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated close to Osmanbey Metro Station, so it´s easy to get around. A good choice for a relaxing city trip. I loved the CD they offer when you check out. I loved to listen their jazz songs during the night in the room. Rooms are confortable. Bathroom is nice. I have no negative comments to say about the JAZZ hotel or its' staff. Staff wasn't too concerned when music wasn't working in one of our rooms. And since Jazz music playing throughout is one of their main features, it was disappointing that it barely worked. 6Th floor rooms were too small. I didn't like that there is no lounge for a business meeting. Total invoice with no details... You have to ask for the information.... The location. no room service and no lobby in the hotel. Rooms are small. There is no lobby, bar or restaurant. Bad atmosphere in the room,dirty toilette,very small lobby next to reception,very poor and no fresh breakfast,dirty area round hotel,the staff does'n speak very well English.generally don't go to Istanbul.
