I was really satisfied with the Emporium Hotel! It has an amazing staff, most of them could speak English, but all of them had an smile of the face. The super friendly members of staff were ready to help with any question or situation! In the first night there was a misunderstanding with the room, but the problem was later solved (there is a huge difference between a triple room and a double room with an extra folding bed!). all reviews » The Hotel is centrally located in Istanbul which makes for easy access by foot to many attractions. The tram stop is only a few meters away and is far quicker than a taxi. (Caution needs to be taken on overloaded trams though as my partner got pick pocketed and had a phone and money taken) The hotel staff where extremely accommodating in this situation. Location is great in front of beyazit tramvay station , only two stations away from hagiasophia and sultanahmet 2. The staff is friendly and professional 3. Fluent english and even arabic which is too difficult to find staff speaking english fluently in turkey .the hotel is new and the room was great . Noise reduction glasses used which makes you sleep well after long days trips . Breakfast was simple but the taste was great. There is no parking in the hotel, it is possible to use a private car park at a local charge, not far from the hotel. One has to negotiate a short entrance staircase with luggage before reaching the elevator. first day they give us a small room. no maps of the city. They need to improve on the concierge area. Firstly, I reserved stander room... But I found it very tight... Therefore, I asked for bigger one and they were very cooperative and I get spacious lovely room... And I enjoyed it :). everything was ok. The break fast is very bad and no good thing to get their and a very rude women working on the breakfast wich doesn't respect the accomedated people and keep shouting on them. The stair on the front of the hotel was high. But breakfast needs to be improved. Women cleaning the room made too much noise in the mornings. Nothing. breakfast. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor, but rooms serviced everyday so it was cleaned.
