It is a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelivable and the view is amazing worth everything. It is also very close to everything. Staffs are very helpful and dedicated. The breakfast line is nice. The stairs are a bit demanding and need to be careful-for information of whom cares about that. the hotel also has a little deck used as a beach in the day and restaurant in the night which is very nice. all reviews » The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace. It is also easily accessible by public transportation. The staff are also attentive to your need. The hostel is great. Perfect location, great atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff, safe, clean and very good mattresses. I had great time and I would stay there again. The breakfast is included in the room rate and it is quite good. I could have great nights of sleep because the hostel is quiet during the night while allowing you to socialize in the roof terrace. Be aware that it is a very good hostel, however do not expect a 5 stars HOTEL. Breakfast was an all-you-can-eat buffet arrangement which suited us very well as we liked to eat a big breakfast so we wouldn't be hungry until later in the day. The location was excellent and reception was able to answer all of our questions There were three computers with free internet Room was very clean. Heating and airconditioning available... staff was awesome. Ridvan is best. I really liked the service, everybody was available to help you whenever I need it. Staff were so friendly. Because we were a group of 4 they upgraded us to a private room when we had paid for a shared dorm. Breakfast was great it was amazing value for money. We were 5 mins from the blue mosque it was the perfect location. Staff were extremely helpful language barrier was a problem and they gave us all the touristy info. Room light was very dark and blue. Nothing bad to say about it it's the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Wifi was weak in room. Everything was great. Blanket was thin to use cold weather. Wi-fi connection was not very stable. There was only 1-2 shared shower and 1 toilet for the four 6-bunk bed rooms. Hence some waiting is required during "peak hours". People on night reception didnt really know what they were doing. The guy on during the day was great though. Nothing. No towels. niente. the light in the room wasnt our taste (rest of hostel very charming!) and big apple logo on the bed. but these were not really b a d things. only one, algerian programme of TV, darkness (economical lamps in the room), no elevator, tightness. Its not a social place for travellers. not even one thing. the eggs were not fresh. not much shower room.
