The Antique hostel is located in the middle of old city Sultanahmet among great number of other small private hotels and hostels, but Antique offers a peacefull neighboroughood for good night sleep after spending whole day wondering around Istanbul. Interior is very nice and cosy with good breakfast on terace. From here, every turist sight is on walking distance (10 min). Room with twin beds and private bath are a bit small but with big windows and light and clean towels. Nothing broken, no bug.

Well done everyone at the antique hostel.no doubt I would like to go back to wonderful istanbul with that hoster as my favorite place to stay at. Room for 6 are in basement, pretty small for 6 and kind of wet and noisy at night. But they have really great terrace upstairs with sea view and very friendly staff, where one can spent whole day with wi-fi and a glass of tea (they serve tea in glasses). Blue Mosque and Sofya are not more than 100-300 meters away, and so is tram station (300-400 m). Breakfast is very good for an Istanbul budget hostel. Great accomodation in a good location. Very close to the most important attractions (3mins walking from the aya sofia). The rooms are small but nice. Four beds rooms were very cheap while the single room a bit expensive for their size (55€ per night). There is a lovely terrace on the rooftop and they serve breakfast at the morning..The staff was really friendly. In general a good environment . A great hostel overall, very comfortable with nice rooms and great facilities. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm with seaview which was great, excellent wi-fi connection throughout the entire hostel, even on the roof. Nice breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. On top of that you are situated literally minutes walk from some of Istanbul's major tourist attractions. Highly recommend. Great location!!! We stayed in the 4 person family room which was clean. There is a secure luggage room. Rooftop view was nice, breakfast was good. I enjoyed the community-like atmosphere. Traveling alone, it's always important to meet new people which is exactly what you can't get away from here. Great backpackers spot and real value for money! Good wifi connection in the common areas. Combined with the great location, this is probably the best value-for-money accommodation you can find. Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the icing on the cake. We'll be back. The location is very good. Directions from the airport rather confusing. Had the feel of a family hotel; was expecting more of a hostel vibe. For example, the common spaces were barely used so rather difficult to meet other travellers. (But then again, I was there in the off-season...). Nothing,. Long staircase; quiet atmosphere (out of season). The breakfast is not so good. We weren't happy about the bathroom (no shower cab, old repair). The bed was very squeaky, that is not very good for young couple =). Guys in reception are somewhat serious and not that helpful (I asked for direction for the stadium but they did not care that much to explain and I wanted to book the airport shuttle but they just said come later). I stayed for three nights. The last night, they moved me to other room (a bit annoying). Breakfast is a little poor but totally duable. Does not have a private lockers for each guest room in the dorms. facilities are a little bit old. Nothing in particular. Prepare a lock to use private locker. the rooftop could be made prettier. There's no kitchen or laundry facilities. Being unable to make myself a cup of tea was a bit annoying. Does not accept credit cards for payment. I was not a fan of the one key per room. I did not like that they did not provide towels automatically. nothing to complain about!. Hot - no A/C in my room. Room was also very small for 4 people. Booked for a room with ac and family style beds: 1 full, 2 bunk. When we checked in they gave us a four bunk bed room that did not have ac yet, but were assured they were putting it in the next day. This did not quite assuage us since we were only staying the one night. We ended up having to leave our windows open all night in order to stay comfortable. They did give a small refund for the difference in room type. room is too small, there was a smell of dampness! too quiet for hostel ) no chance to meet other people )). The 3 day in advance cancellation policy. Breakfast was poor.
