Hotel very closed to beach, two nice pools and tropical garden , staff very friendly, but poor english spoken, except reception many simple but private restaurants very closed to beach ond sea, food perfect and delicious very romantic at night best time is side saison, very low number of tourists, good for people who like quite time for relaxing und recovering very closed to Airport Phuket, only 2 km (200 THB) min. ticket or taxi.
all reviews » The resort's location is very close to the beach (2 min by walk) & airport (10 min by taxi, the resort offers 200thb for transfer servicee). The lobby is big and nice with wood chairs & tables, The room is clean. Breafast is delicious and more choice. The resort driver is very nice and waited us in airport for one and half hours since our flight was posphoned. We chose Nai Yang Beach Resort as it was close to the airport for a late night check in. It surpassed our expectations for being away from the hoards of tourists & we liked it because of its relaxed environment. The tortoise enclosure was a surprise spectacle as was being able to hire stand up paddle boards. quite area away from crowded areas like patong etc, small, friendly, safe, great food,location, close to airport but no airport noise, no backpackers en masse, good for just getting away & relaxing, nothing to do but eat, sleep, relax & have a beer on the beach & enjoy the wonderful sunsets. very close to airport room was very clean comfortable and large just A few steps to pool which we loved allthough would have been great if pool was open A little earlier stayed 2 nights bar staff (ronny especially)really friendly! however staff at reception should take some lessons from him!. Reception staff were freindly and helpful .Lots of small restaurants directly accessible outside the resort and on the beach. excellent location, 4 mins from airport yet quiet, over the road to the beautiful beach, plenty of beach restaurants and a good few bars,shops and stalls...Mega fridges in the room visit the supermarket and save money on refreshing drinks.. I had the mini thai suite and the rooms were very nice, clean and well designed. I found the location, right across from many great albeit small restaurants was excellent and will stay longer on a future trip to Thailand. I was only there overnight so not a full experience. Convenience to the airport was the main reason I chose this hotel, as my flight arrived early morning. Room was large and comfortable for my needs. Ian Sharpe, Auckland. Staff were excellent and very helpful! They spoke English well always made sure you were ok. It's also close the airport so. 200 baht cab ride! The hotel is basic, but offers all you need for a short stay close to the airport (with airport transfer). Nice swimming pools. 2 minute walk to Nai Yang beach. The very nice and luxury rooms, the beautiful 400m private beach, the delicious food. And last but not least the very nice staff, specially the symphatic swiss girl called nicole at the reception:). Nai Yang Beach Resort pools little stinky after clorine no well asorted supermarket closed by, sometimes very noisy music at night, laundry prices are high, since no connection to other shopping oppertunities, taxi´s are quite expensive since no busses or traffic connection,. Just hope that the resort can improve their bathroom's shower strainer and make it can be moved. The water sometimes very hot, sometimes is cold. It is really inconvienience. Only that there was no food available for late check-ins after 10.30 at night. nothing that I can think of!. oriential wing pool furniture was really dirty and old needs updating badly. Aircrews/ Trolley Dollies use this hotel but as their time clocks differ we had a young parting crew who were up all night.......!!! a one off I'm sure but no great problem....a punch in the face at five in the morning tends to quiet them!. Shower proved to be a bit of a problem, with water 'surging', running very weakly and slowly for a good while and then a short burst of water. The same thing was happening with the bathroom basin. Otherwise all very good. Water was brown sometimes when you first turned on the sink. Charging for Internet usage. Breakfast is very expensive (300 Baht per person). Skip the breakfast and have breakfast on the beach. Nicer and cheaper. Nothing- It was a really perfekt stay in the resort. A lot of noisy Russian guests using the swimming pool during the night. Toilet blocked first day, not pleasant when we'd only just got up and not showered yet. Free wi-fi only in a certain area, not in rooms. A bit too expensive. Should include breakfast w/ the room. Can ask guests the type of breakfast they like. We're not too difficult to please. Swimmingpools could have been slightly deeper. Airco in the bungalows was rather noisy and not very efficient. Wifi only in communal Areas and had to pay in the bed rooms. Asked for an airport transfer....no one turned up. Rang the hotel and no one could understand us on the phone so in the end we had to get a taxi after waiting 45 minutes. No apology on arrival at the hotel. Free Wifi only available in foyer. Air conditioning flows straight down on you when you sleep. Impossible to set the air flow elsewhere. Would have considered it a 3 star and not 4. Shops are more expensive, because only minimarts and no 7/11. Beds are very, very firm!. Our room was a long way from reception with no cover over the walkways when raining and overlooked a part of the garden that was being landscaped so had an ugly plastic fence. The smell of room for me was terrible, my husband thought ok for him. you have to cross the road to be on the beach. There wasn't anything I didn't like. Bed was a little hard but due to tiredness didn't stop us from sleeping soundly. Housekeeping never arrived before 16.00 despite "please make up room out by 9.00" as a result cleaning was often rushed and not completed fully.Balconies above us were swept straight off the edge meaning we got everyone else's rubbish.Despite this we would stay there again having stayed several times before. Nothing to do with the hotel, but for future guests, the beach was not very suitable for swimming. It was covered in driftwood and debris bought in by the tide. The swimming pool was welcome but not extra clean. internet was not included in the rooms. The bed was uncomfortable. No free WiFi in room Breakfast not very good. Nothing. Nothing. There was a bit of litter on the beach. - Could be cleaner. Reception staff need a lesson in customer service. Free Wifi only available in foyer. Although I have stayed this hotel several times,only once have I been put into a suite near to reception all others I have had to trudge a long way to my room even though there are vacant suites much closer, WHY?. nothing. The cost of laundry.
