The staff were amazing and we had the best time at the Cha Da. The room we stayed in (diamond) was magnificent - you can hear the kids at play but it is not intrusive and you can relax by your own pool. It is only five mins tuk tuk from the local village and there are also plenty of bars and restuarants along the beach which the hotel sits on. Breakfast was busy but assorted and plenty. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in - any negative points rasied are more for information of ot.

We stayed in a Grand Suite and loved being able to walk out of our balcony and jump straight into the swimming pool. The breakfast was the biggest and best we have seen anywhere in the world. The hotel was right on the beach and there were bars restaurants and massage huts all along. We booked the pool access room and it was amazing. The rooms were huge. Even better than the online pictures. The staff were lovely and helpful. Room service was great value for money. The breakfast was also great loads of choice. Would love to come back here. The breakfast buffet was very delicious & lots of variety to choose from. Swimming pool infront of my gold suite was amazing can swim anytime I want. Location was good less than 10 mins to Seladan by tuk tuk. Staff were very friendly & polite . The Gold Suite was huge and beautiful, breakfast was varied and plentiful, reception staff friendly and helpful - our showerhead was broken and fixed very quickly. Location on the beach. Hotel seems to be set up for families and kids and there are plenty of them in the main pool if you were after napping peacefully on a sunbed then you may be better off on the beach. Evening meals and entertainment could be improved but with so much choice in the village and on the beach there is always an alternative. - Breakfast buffet was disappointing - no 5 stars hotel standard: no fresh juices, no fresh butter, no fresh jams, bad coffee, poor service; breakfast opening hours are to short! Just available until 10 am - Service could have been better - Cocktails taste man-made - no fresh fruits and fruit juices used - Entertainment program is boring - Friendly staff, but slow service. The bed was so hard that I was looking at sleeping on the tiled floor thinking it might be softer. The a/c was very noisy. The staff at the poolside restaurant were not very attentive. No free WIFI access in the room need to pay 200b had to go to the public pool then have free WIFI very troublesome. Restaurant staff's English was limited, WiFi wasn't free, lunch and dinner menu expensive and not that nice. The breakfast was your typical Thai buffet. We had burgers and salad for lunch on arrival, they were in edible. We never ate there again. Much better food at the beach restaurants. Charged nearly £4 per day for Internet, bottled water etc, Layout is noisy and overcrowded despite being only part full. Don t eat at the pool restaurant if you want to go in the city the walk takes about 15mins There are no street lights.
