The owner (I'm assuming he's the owner...) was so warm, friendly and helpful. He gave us great tips on where to eat, what to see and where to go for almost anything we needed/wanted. His suggestions were always bang on and as a result I think he really enhanced our experience in Chiang Mai! Thank you! They also booked tours and trips from the guesthouse. all reviews » The family who run this guesthouse were so friendly and so welcoming and gave us some brilliant tips as to where to go (including a local restaurant where the food was to die for). The location is prefect for exploring the city. The guesthouse was beautifully decorated and our room was a good size with very comfortable beds. We felt very relaxed and happy there. It was a lovely place, I would love to go back. I can't recommend it highly enough (and Chiang Mai is also wonderful). Reception BERM is really helpful and considerate. Booked one day tour to Jungle flight and Chiangrai. Speacial discount for us! The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and some very minor repairs (some cracked tiles, small chips in the furniture, etc). This is so minor and is more of an observation than a complaint. N/A. - The rooms could have be a bit cleaner, our room had some ugly spots on the wall - the balcony is a pure klaustrophobie, 1x1 m large, hard for sit in two => like I've told you, rather go to the lobby, it's great!. However It is still much cheaper than other cities in Thailand so we were satisfied with our hotel. Once again, no complaints. No breakfast. There appeared to be bananas and tea and coffee but we weren't advised of this at any point- even when we asked about breakfast. A little pricey as we also stayed 2 minutes round the corner in another place that was of same standard but 250 baht less per night. Nothing!. water only hot when its a dribble, though it was unseasonably cool when we were there. the bathroom was a little grubby, particularly in the corners. bed a little too firm for my liking. people complain about the local late night disco and hard beds i had no problem and sleep like a log. Nothing at all. Nothing!. Nothing. as far as i'm concerned, there are no negatives about the yindee!!. Hotel is situated in a small alley, took some times to find it. But was hidden in a relatively quiet neighbourhood (although the music from nearby pub can be heard, but not disturbing). Bathroom was not perfectly clean, but acceptable. nothing. No hangers to hang clothes!. Only the owner can speak English. None. Some loud music played by pub nearby during night. But bearable. Noisy due to the Disco Pubs music Someone at the Reception doesn't speak English. Nothing. Electric Hot water unit (room 104) on shower was not up to handling much volume. ie lots of water-cool or hot water not much volume. Everything was fine. Nothing at all. The bar nearby can be very lout at night. But the sound proof wall at hotel proved to be good. WIFI信号不好，连接不上。. There is no attention to basic details. Unfortunately the place lends itself to extreme noises, slamming of doors ( although establish is requesting with a sign not to do so) and of course, the Rock Cafe bad loud music. Hard Rock and Heavy Metal music just 20 meters from Hotel, every day until 1-2 A.M. The shower was very weak and in order to get the electric unit to heat the water you had to turn the water pressure to a dribble. Also rooms were a little grubby and very poorly sound proofed so bring ear buds or you will not sleep.
