The staff were always smiling and very gracious to us, they opened all the doors for us like royalty! I was especially impressed with the bellhop who brought our bags up into the room and walked us through all the amenities in the room, this rarely ever happens! The room we were given was a huge suit-like room, with a "walk-in" bathroom, complete with rain shower and bathtub. LIT Hotel is a 5 min walk away from National Stadium BTS and the same time away from MBK shopping centre, it is very con.
all reviews » The proximity of the hotel is really good for those on a shopping trip. Siam Paragon, Central World, Digital Discovery, Siam Discovery, MBK and Siam Square are all within walking distance. The nicest part was the personal touches of the staff to remember our names and chatted with us whenever they see us. They even came to see us off as we left the hotel. I'm definitely booking this hotel when I revisit Bangkok. This was our first vacation to Bangkok and we were glad to stay in the lit hotel. The hotel lobby has a very cosy and jazzy ambience. The staff were all very polite and Service oriented. They never fail to open the main door for the guests. The location was also very near to the main shopping complex like Siam paragon and Siam discovery and mbk, our favourite shopping place. What an amazing design! I really loved the room with the curvy walls and huge bathrooms. Everything was impeccably clean. The staff speak excellent English and were extremely polite. It's a short walk to the main shopping malls and small and cozy house-museum of Jim Thompson. Nice swimming pool and amazing spa in the hotel. Free coffee-machine in the lobby. Very nice hotel. Room is spacious & comfortable. Walking distance to most major shopping malls like MBK, Siam Centre, Siam Paragon, Central World, etc. Near BTS but off the main road, so is quiet. Staff are polite and friendly. Will stay there again...easily. There's a nice little massage shop opp hotel, great place to go after a long day of shopping. This was probably the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Conveniently located in the Siam district within a minutes walk to the main shopping district. The new modern design of the rooms were of a very high standard in design & also of an extremely high standard. The hotel staff were equally as good. I would highly recommend this hotel. Really close to the malls like MBk and Siam Siam paragon and it is a very short walk to venter world plaza. All the staff was v helpful and v nice with a smile on their face and they were very helpful with the places we wanted to go like renting cabs for us . Pool doesn't get much sunlight for tanning, but it's not that much of a big deal. Breakfast is expensive. The room I asked before was not available and I did not had any view. I did not liked the staff pressuring me to leave my room a bit after the check out. Pool area is great, but you have to go to first floor, go out and then go up again via stairs to access the pool that have too much chlorine. The toilet of my room was on the entrance far from the bath and no exclusive door for the toilet area. The swimming pool's tiles were a bit slippery. Nothing really. TV channels were pretty limited. Rooms were a little design over function an the whole 'unique lighting' thing in the rooms wasn't really necessary. Zero!. no smoking hotel...room service cannot speak english...i asked to sterilize baby`s bottle, i was told we cant do it because we are not 5 star hotel...location good but inside lane which doesn't look safe during late night... nothing. Toilet layout a bit strange. Small walkway Shower area triangular Room size a little small No balcony / view No complimentary breakfast No spa / massage package for hotel booking. TV channel is less on sport channel. Breakfast is a bit expensive due to less choices .. The view is not that nice - the hotel is in an ally. Don't know if I would say you get value for money. In one night during our stay, the hot tap water was dirty, and there was a strong smell. Nothing more to complain. Nothing. Nothing. The bathroom in superior room had no privacy. The breakfast should have more yoghurt and healthy musli . Bar closes at 11pm and not much atmosphere in the hotel of an evening. You can go elsewhere however nothing interesting within walking distance. We have found the "different degree" ones a little small due to inefficient internal decore. Nothing. breakfast a bit boring. You couldn't smoke by the pool or outside in the coutyard. Nothing. No door on bathroom. No good view from window and pool very small.
