The hotel is very nice and the rooms were very modern and spacious. The staff was excellent, always smiling and willing to assist me with any need. I did not try the restaurant since I was always out but it seem to have a lot of action, so I would presume it was good. The location was key for me and it was excellent. all reviews » This was recommended by my cousin and boy was he right. Key positives include: very cordial staff, english speaking, the place is extremely clean and modern. Best of all it is very centrally located and there is no other hotel where the tube station exit is at its doorstep. The rooms were very quiet during the night. I would personally make sure i stay there whenever i go to BKK. For those who bank with Citi, well, there is a Citi branch right next door too. P.S. one of the days it was raining . It is very well located in sukumvit avenue / in front of Asok skytrain. Bangkok is a busy city and traffic jams are crazy. Best way to tour the city will be by skytrain making this hotel a very interesting option. Put aside the swimming pool and some non necessary facilities. This one will make it out. Breakfast is more than sufficient. No street noise (6th floor). The rooms are spotlessly clean; The staff are incredibly friendly; The internet works faultlessly and is free; The location could not be better - SkyTrain (which you can't hear!) is right outside...as is the BTS; The food is delicious. Smell of the hotel along the corridor and lobby. should have more pillow, smoking room. Finer details such as windowless rooms or rooms window facing a corridor of pedestrian walk way. No shaving kits. Shower water temperature inconsistent. Toilet's water pressure and temperature inconsistent. Flooded when showering as water does not flow out to the floor trap. Toilet smells of sewage. No soundproofing, can hear the guests next door talking/laughing. Free wifi - Non existent. Suite rather small..not much different from normal rooms.
