1. The owner is a very pleasant person, very helpful and glad to show you what ever you need to know about the Valencia region. Not to mention that he speaks no only romanian, my language, but many others, which is quite nice and handy. 2. The place. The apartment we used was a 1 bedroom apartment, situated at the second floor. One double bed and one extensible sofa, very confortable if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped, you can cook whatever you want. Big fridge, normal size, toaster, coff.
all reviews » The owner of the apartments is wonderful and really seems to care about his tenants happiness in staying there. I booked the apartment for myself and four friends and we arrived at 5:30 in the morning because of an overnight train. He was happy to accommodate the extremely odd check in time. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious. We found enough utensils to cook in the kitchen for every night without problem. The location is not in the main part of the city, but within 2 minu. Apartments were perfect, location 4 mins from a tram stop and about 10-15 mins walk to the beach, I would recommend walking a bit further up the beach as the sea is a little clearer. The staff couldn't of been more helpful when we checked in and each time we saw the owner, even in the supermarket, he would recognise us and make sure we were ok. Rooms are nicely designed so we feel at home. The owner/manager is extremely helpful in planning our short stay. We are two families with children, and only stayed in the city for less than 24 hours. With the great help from the owner, we were able to tour the old town center at night, tasting the fabulous local food, and got u. Rooms and staff were great. Nice located, about 7/10 minutes away from the beach with the metro. The neighbourhood around Maritim isn't that exciting, but it has everything you need (supermarket, small restaurants and cafetarias) and with the metro, which rides very frequently, you can get to Valencia city in about 30 minutes:) Also, we felt save in the neighbourhood and it wasn't noisy or amything. We visited La Ciudad de Los Artes y Sciencias and especially L'Oceanografic is really worth a.vi. This is a good location for a city trip / beach vacation. Appartments are ideally located between the towncentre and the beach. Towncentre 3 metro stops away and the beach 10 minutes on foot. Metrostation Serresteria closeby as well as the tram to the beach. Appartment was modernly decorated, very comfortable beds and overall very well equipped as if you were at home. The owner/host Rafael is a nice guy: he is serious and enthousiastic and very eager to make your stay perfect. If there is a pro. The appartment is fully equipped with everything you can need. All is quite new. Wifi is free and has a good quality. Rafael, the kind owner, provides all type of explanations and helps with sightseeing and touristic visits (he communicates in 9 languages, Russian and Chinese included). Quiet area. If anything at all, the limited "storage-facilities" for toiletteries in the bathroom. Just be prepared for the possible parking issues on the narrow streets. Nothing. - No daily cleaning, but that's what you expect in an apartment - Location is out of the city center, so it depends on your plans for Valencia, if you want to be in walking distance to the beach (15min) and are happy to take Metro into city, this is perfect! If you are mainly focused for the city center, then you are maybe better off with a place directly there. No remarks. It was cold in Valencia in November. We had troubles with finding places to eat (they are either closed or serve only cold dishes and drinks at the time). Although, we managed it and enjoyed difference paellas. (And we should have asked Rafael for direct recommendations earlier). Again, Mercadona (a supermarket) is very close, you can cook any dish you want yourself at the apartment. Nothing. Just wish our plans would have allowed for a longer stay. Did not find anything to dislike. The pillow: It is along sausage. Difficult to share with your spouse. The bed sheet cum bedspread, we are not sure how often they may be washed. Proper sheets are far better. Nothing. Hard to find even with a GPS beds a bit hard towels very thin parking not convenient. no dishwasher but the owner has been great to compensate. so no worries.
