Just perfect for a stay in Madrid for some night close to everything. A bit small room, but always very clean and newly restaurated. Very silent, as long as the window is closed. Noisy city outside! Shower with instant hot water. Fridge that works perfect. Good elevator. As long as you know that the rooms are small, you really cannot go wrong with some nights in Victoria II. Highly recommended!.
all reviews » Victoria is just steps away from sol in Madrid; it's a perfect location for restaurants and shops (and Metro) and wanting to be where it's all happening. The price is good--actually it's excellent-- considering the location. The room (we were in room 8 just down the hall from check-in) was very quiet. And given how the building seems old and dark, the room was amazingly clean. Excellent location. Shopped for food at the very nearby El Corte Ingles dept store (think Macy's with a supermarket in the basement). Wi-fi great. Clean and nice bathroom. Refrigerator, but no way to heat water. Everything was as expected, meybe even better. The price and the quality and the ubrication are very well balanced :) deffinitely will recomend it to my friends. Hotel is very nice and clean and queit. Hotel is in the center of Madrid!! its wonderfull. Small rooms for one person. Clean shower. The location is great, you just walk maybe 20 meters to the square. And there are lots of bars near the hostel. The room was really nice. Good for two adults and an older son. He had a little privacy behind a wall. right at the city centre and next to the metro station.tiny but tidy, has everything you would need. - great location - small but clean, fresh towels every day. WiFi is not consistent at all, so if being completely connected all the time is imperative, this would not be a good choice. The rooms are small and dark, but that didn't matter to us because we were hardly in the room at all, and the darkness made it easier to sleep. Building was old and scary with narrow staircase (a tiny lift also). Noise from reception, but a small balcony to a major street and relatively quiet inside. Hostal does not mean hotel. Once I got over the setting and twin beds, it was good. TV bad--but we were out or sleeping well. Nothing to say. Hard to find reception. Was on 2nd or 3rd floor or something like that. Might be normal for Madrid, I guess. poor sound proof of the wall. could hear the guy next room snoring like he were in my room... -. The corridor is poorly lit. I had to rely on the light from my mobile to walk from the reception to my room and to look for the keyhole to open the room door. Nothing. We had a room at the front and it was very noisy. From two sides: the street side and the reception area of the hotel. Room nr. 7 is not recommended. The room was uncomfortable. The staff didn't speak English, was very unfriendly, saying racist remarks.
