Walking distance to Puerta del Sol and metro. There's restaurant and a convenient store just downstairs. The room was air-conditioned, which is a nice escape from Madrid's hot summer.

Location, middle of everything.
The hostel is hard to find. Took us some time and help from the locals to locate it. Please make a bigger/prominent sign !.
there was a television but not signal was coming from the arial.
they do have wifi connection but wasn't working in the room.
The staff doesn't speak English. They make a mistake of room type as
booking (and we have to stay one night in a wrong room type). There is
no washing machine and some others as in the letsbookhotel.com.
Office building, signs not clear enough.
