Hostal Rodri has been the best choice for our week stay in Granada. We have received an incredible helpful and warm welcome and you could tell that the staff really care about the guests. This should really be called hotel, not hostel! I am vegan and I even had suggestions about where the vegan restaurands are located (which in a ham and cheese country is not an easy thing!) all reviews » We really enjoyed our stay at Rodri's Hostel. The staff was extremely obliging and gave us a lot of helpful information (like nice restaurants, bars etc.). We first had trouble parking the car, but the owner of the hotel (I guess) even came with us to our car to park it for us! The room as well as the bathroom was very nice and really clean. We really had everything we needed and we highly recommend Hostal Rodri for a trip to Granada!. Hostal Rodri was by far the best place of the three hotels we went to in southern Spain. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share his familiarity with the city, recommending places to go and things to do that were successes without fail. The hotel itself was decorated beautifully with quality pieces. It's ideally located for the centre of Granada, too, which made our stay even better. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable. the location is near Cathedral, near Gran Via. There were 2 receptionist. Both were so kind and active in giving us many useful tips about the city. If I have another chance to return to Granada I'll book again this Hostal and I'll recommend everybody. Thank you so much!!!!. The day time manager (we did not get his name) was excellent and provided us with very useful information to maximize our time in Granada as we were only staying for one night. His recommendation of the tapas bar was spot on and we had a great time there. A big plus point is the on-site parking arrangement. A great place to stay!. Jose was a brilliant ambassador for both the hotel,(which has an excellent location to bars and restaurants and to the city centre) and Granada. His knowledge about his city was really helpful. Entrance to the hotel is on a rather forbidding, alley-like street. Floors are a little slick--they are polished stone or ceramic...there isn't much texture to provide some friction. Be careful. No views and therefore a bit claustrophobic.Not serious though. Nothing. All superb.
