This hotel is a gem. The rooms are comfortable and clean, good air conditioning. The drink making facilities are a big advantage. The room fridge is ideal for chilling a bottle of wine to drink whilst sitting in the beautiful courtyard by the fountain at the end of the day.Most of all the staff made our stay wonderful, always friendly and helpful with great advice on places to visit. Excellent !!!.
all reviews » Our stay at the Abadia hotel was faultless. So much to say about ourexperience, but will try and keep it brief. Rooms so clean,authentically Spanish and roomy. The Courtyard was phenomenal and lovelyto sit in. The refreshments provided extremely reasonable ie superbwines. The overall look of the hotel was so stylish and unique,Main pluswas the attentive, friendly and helpful staff. Superb. The hotel was in a great position for all the local points of interest. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us to get underway on our site seeing tour of Granada, including giving us access, for free, to booking tickets for a variety of attractions. We are definately planning to stay here again. We were even lucky enough to get free parking right outside the hotel!. I loved the courtyard with the Moorish touches. The front staff was extremely courteous and helpful, showing us what to see and where to eat. They recommended restaurants in the bull-fighting stadium and the one we chose had delicious and inexpensive entrees.The hotel was perfectly located but a bit hard to find. VERY close to the airport bus, cafes, restaurants,everything needed. The staff were great and on call 24hours. Everything in the rooms was new and clean. The Abadia provided true value for money - the rooms were lovely, the staff were very friendly and it was conveniently situated. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Abadia and would recommend it to everyone.looked after very well - provided with apartment in lieu of room booking. The Abadia is comfortable with a friendly ambience. The central patio is a beautiful feature. Some reviewers dislike the access via a narrow backstreet, but this is common in Granada and we never felt threatened even at night. Inside is an oasis of tranquility. If driving then research and plan very well as virtually everything very tight and 1 way. No street noise (we were at the back) but soundproofing between rooms could be improved.No Complaints at all, but a breakfast service would be great. It was very difficult to locate.the bathroom: weird design, sometimes water can overflow to the room and making quite a bit of a mess. In october, the room's floor can be a bit chilly, a nice slippers will be appreciated. Shower in one of our rooms was missing one piece of the door which made the water spray out onto floor.The view. Not easy to find. The bathroom needed a shower curtain. The water got everywhere and will damage the woodwork. A little difficult to find so a better map on their website would be useful. Location good but on a dark side street.

Travelling information

From the airport you can take a taxi or the airport shuttle to Gran Vía de Colon, stop number 4 (beside Padre Suarez school). Walk down Calle San Juan de Dios and take the third right onto Fuente Nueva, and then the first left onto Calle Triana Baja.

From the bus station, take bus number 3 or 33 and get off in Gran Vía de Colon, at stop number 4, and follow instructions as above. Similarly, from the train station, take bus line 5 along Gran Vía de Colon and follow the instructions above.
