I booked this room for my daughter and her friend who were flying into Barcelona ahead of a school trip to Spain. I wanted them to be close to the airport so as to be able to wait for the remainder of their group to catch up. From the moment I made the reservation, we received tremendous service from the facility's manager, Italo Russo Silva. She checked in without a hitch. all reviews » Very convenient to stay at this airport hotel located in the main terminal, particularly with late or early flight times. Manager Italo Russo Silva was very helpful and the room was set up exactly as requested. We got an early check-in at 11:30 A.M. for only 11 Euros. Very modern, clean and efficient. We took the train into Barcelona for Picasso Museum and a final dinner, and departed early the following morning. The room was sleek and modern, very nice. The hotel is inside the airport terminal, making it the perfect choice for an early morning flight the next day or a late night arrival. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is clean. They also include a limited but nice breakfast. The convenience was unspeakable; flight out early the next day and all I had to do was pack up and truck it on up the escalator! - The young man who watched the desk from afternoon until night was so nice and helpful. A very professional encounter. The air rooms were very convienent and great for an early morning departure. The free drinks in the mini bar was a nice bonus. I realize the hotel has wired internet in the rooms, it would be very convenient for the hotel to have Wi-Fi in the common, or lounge, areas. With only 9 rooms and a lounge facing those rooms, it would not cost much to put a few Wi-Fi routers in the lounge area. This would be quite handy in a world where people are increasingly travelling with devices that exclusively rely on wireless connections to the outside world. Wired internet isn't very convenient - can't connect to Apple products for example. Installing Wi-Fi routers in lounge area would be a great improvement. If you are staying in Barcelona to see the sights, you should choose a hotel within the city. This airport is excellent for flight convenience. There was nothing I didn't like about this Air Room. The hotel was a little hard to find. Good for 1 or 2 people but not for a family as the rooms are on the small side. No wifi but was thankful for the free use of computers in the business centre. It was surprisingly difficult to find the hotel within the airport. The airport signs did not help and the information desk sent us a long way around. The person at the front desk wasn't well informed about the services at the airport and he didn't even try to find out the info we needed!. Oddly for a business center, there was no wifi capability. There was no fresh air in the room, it was strong smell from the cleaning detergents or air freshener which was terrible for people who tend to have sensitivity to strong odors. It was impossible to open the window so there was no air circulation. Nothing - a 10+experience. The room was very warm, even with the AC turned to coldest. We are from Seattle & like a cool room. The room was also "cozy" but had everything. Nil. Dinner possibilities are poor. 1) There were no directions specifically to the Air Rooms facility - you needed to know to look for "Corridor" upon reaching the arrivals level. 2) Breakfast was not ready at the 'published' time. The man at the check in was not nice, Leakage of water from shower. It is hard to find, no signage in airport, basically you have to know where to find it, also on booking is not a word that it is in business center ... I was looking for hotel ... but security guy I asked told me, no hotel ... its just few rooms in business center, you have to go there, ... etc .. A bit difficult to find the hotel in the airport; no wifi. Nothing. There was no Wi Fi available. The hard line for the Internet was limiting as only 1 of us could work at a time. Wifi should be available and free all the time and not only first 15 mins of stay. The perfumed cleaner that was used in the room was not pleasant. Acoustic sound proof is not good enough between rooms？！（for such a noise making woman） I was awaken by loud voice and noise of a Japanese speaking woman around 00:28 hours. The noise last till 01:25 hours. Too much loudly noisy should not happen in this four-star hotel !!？. Hard to find No blanket or duvet - just a sheet No spare electric sockets No wifi (only wired internet). I had to pay in advance. No wifi in the room. Breakfast was way overated and should be included in the price of the stay for all member of the family party. Breakfast could be better (eg more cheese and fruit). No wifi. Access to food limited after 1700. Very small for 2. Theonly thing which could beof help isa NETconnection fee of charge in the rooms. No wifi. Would like to have had a small tube of toothpaste!. The signage at the airport was very poor. It would be good if rooms could be booked in hours blocks e.g 6 hrs. We stayed 5 hours but still payed the full rate. the A/C. Information desk and many others did not know of the airrooms existence more advertising needed for such a good deal!!!!. Shower slippery and leaky onto bathroom floor. Shower did not drain properly and the drain cap kept falling off. No decent dining available. Didn't like how cold it was (can be an advantage also as the reason for the trip was to over night at airport to catch an early flight).
