The main plus point, was that the hotel was a great central base for our trip. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem was the football result was not a great one!. It was very comfortable especially the pillows. It wasnice and close to the city centre. Very nice staff and the room was clean, modern, and pratical for the budget traveler. all reviews »

Location is ok, reasonable distance on foot to placa catalunya, ramblas and sagrada(+ 2 metro stations nearby). Good neighbourhood and you can always opt for a room facing the interior if you want to sleep well. However the landscape from the window is bleak, to say the least. If all that you want is an affordable hotel to start your visits and to come at night for a good rest, then I recommend it. very comfortable, brilliant shower, good location, no frills. The shower, size of the bed, locality. Upon check in arrival, we found that the second room reservation that we had booked on-line, had not been received at the hotel. This was at first annoying, but was soon sorted with the allocation of another room. Fortunately there were vacancies.the only thing i would ask for is for tea and coffee in the rooms but apart from that everythig was great!. It would be nice to have a room with an Iron so guests could iron their clothes.There was nothing I didn't like. It may have been worth the extra $15, but I would have been just as happy in a slightly less expensive hostel. You do get a nicer staff, more room, and a quieter place to sleep, but I am just as happy in the cheaper places.most of the rooms don't have any view out of the window. I rated "services/facilities" as fair, because although I wouldn't have minded a safety deposit box, telephone, desk and regular replacement of the soap/shampoo tube in the room, they were not critical necessities. Probably so to keep their rates so low.Need more wardrobe space (2 hangers on the wall is 'limited' to say the least !. even if optional a hair dryer would be nice. we just stayed for two days and on the second day, they forgot to provide toilette paper but other than that we had a good stay. Hotel room would be quite small for two people with bags but perfect for a solo traveller. 1. I paid the hotel on a UK debit card, in euros. When I checked my card statement, the exchange rate used meant I paid £6 more than the exchange rate as per ft.com; this represented almost 10% extra on the room cost. 2. the website refers to a good restaurant for breakfast nearby but in the morning, the desk clerk did not speak English so could not tell me where the restaurant was. Not enough clothes storage space. A tall wardrobe might have been a good addition to the room. internet not open very early in the mornings. bathroom floor tended to get wet when using the shower, could have mirror in bathroom, air con slightly tempermental.The room is small but well equipped. Our Apartment was not clean when we arrived. The coffee machine still had old coffee in it from previous guests and almost all the glasses and mugs were dirty and not washed properly. We did report it that same night and was promised that housecleaning will come in the next day. They never arrived.Hotel sign difficult to recognise, not least at night. room small. The rooms could have a single chair,and a mirror,maybe one or two pictures,a little more light. Think the walls are a little thin you can hear people talking in the next room or above you. My room was also facing the street which means it's quite noisy come the break of dawn but that's life in Barcelona so no complaints there !. The only thing was the lack of a hair dryer ...... they could have a fewavailable on request , i'd be happy to pay a deposit. The room I got was quite small and only one window looking out on another wall.Really slow internet, but better than none at all. No telephone or hairdryer in room.small room, view to the court not so nice. Breakfast is not offered inside the hotel, it's a 5 minutes walk and also you cannot buy beer for a drink on the terrace. There are only machines for coffee, tea, water and sandwiches.decor was bland just like the staff! Didn't replace the shower goods. The lighting in the room was too dark.
