Great location, Nice staff, very good room and very clean. The hotel is nearing completion of an upgrade so I was lucky enough to get a room which was better than my budget would normally have allowed. The hotel is non smoking which is excellent. Friendly efficient check-in and staff, great rooms, comfy bedding, great hotel design and views. Fun terrace.Location was excellent, it was safe, well presented, clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

More important to us to have a nice room and be in a good location. Plenty of cafes around 4 brekkie. The Hotel is very modern with a lot of flair and very comfortable. The terrace on the first floor was very pleasant after a long day sightseeing.Great location - in Eixample district. One minute walk from Pg Gracia's shops and restaurants, Gaudi's Casa Mila, Hotel Omm across the road, and the metro (end of street). Away from the madness of Las Ramblas and the tourist trade. Location. It was all brand new...hairdryers were not provided like many other hotels. The breakfast available next door was too expensive.No - unlike some previous reveiws we had no problems with the hot water or aircon and some toiletries are provided - shower gel,soap. Rooms are quiet to road noise if windows shut (we didn't realise they were open and in the morning the road traffic woke us up). Although there are no hairdryers in the room, the reception desk can provide one if you ask. We could not fault anything about our stay. It would have been nice to have a bar or restaurant. No hairdryer and no iron. No coffe/tea making facilities in the room. Also no cups in the room even plastic ones would have sufficed. No breakfast and wifi facilities. Staff was not knowledgable about local laundry service since the hotel does not have any. But after doing a little digging, I was able to find one nearby. there was water leeding on the floor beside the bed and we had no idea how come at all.There was no breakfast available. But we had breakfast on the outside terrasse which was nice too. Strangely still can not make external calls from the phones in the room - said to be in process of geting all connected.small room, didn't seen the terrace on the roof, but doesn't matter, difficult to find restaurants and nightlife near the hotel, but barca is small :-). At night, the emergency lighting system has a light which stays on. It is annoyingly bright. It would also be nice to have somewhere to hang clothes.it's still "under construction", in a way, so several small details were missing.. but I believe everything will be arranged soon. I would definitely advice this hotel to others. quite pricey. It wasn't made clear that it was still under renovation, although it didn't affect our stay. Just had an air of disorganisation about it. The ground floor had a paper printed sign stating the name of the hotel. As did the reception. walls were a bit thin and since we arrived really early in the morning the guy at the reception spoke only spanish which could be a problem if you don't speak spanish. But besides that he was very kind and helpfull, as was everyone at the hotel.Main entrance not well indicated, little soap/shampoo provided (need to bring your own), no fridge, no hair drier. One has to wait for a while before getting hot water for a shower. The hotel is still being built/renovated and basic facilities kept breaking down. The electronic key for our room didn't work, this wasn't repaired nor was a new room offered. Lift and air-conditioning were also temperamental. Note that local parking rates are around 30 to 45 EUR per day. Best to avoid this place until the teething problems are sorted out. 2009 perhaps...tha staff was not professional, althougu they were nice. When I askes abpuot the wetther forecastef for the next day' I was answered "I don't watch it on T.V.", instead of tring to assist me by using the internet. I asked for another blanket but didn't get one. I asked about special events during the national holidat of Spain on 12/10/08, but the reception clerk didn't know anything about that. it would be easier if they serve breakfast. Not enough drawer space. Two of my friends are short and could not reach the hanging space so had to leave cloths on bed. There is no hot water, just warm water. And hotel staff did not turn upthe temperature after we reminded them. Could be bad in winter time.rooms not finished. No bar. Nowhere to sit in the room, no chairs! no furniture nowhere to hang clothes. Safety box didn't work and hotel staff didn't know how to use that. Andalso fridge didn't work... Cleanliness and location are good points. ...It was all brand new but not finished! No shower curtain in thebathroom, no table or waste paper basket in room. There was dirt andhair on the blankets when we checked in to the room. The lock was notworking properly and we had to get the receptionist to try to openour room for 5 minutes. It will probably be a nice hotel once theyfinish it!.
