We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. Security was fantastic and although the only room left was with a shared bathroom it was right opposite our room and only shared with staff non of whom we even saw, and to cap it all it was sparkling clean. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo.

Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night). The location was brilliant, very central and easy to get your bearings. The price was fantastic, it was a clean room with basic amenities. Free wifi that was easy to connect to and I can't really say anything bad about it. I like the rooms which was very clean and neat. The staff was very helpful. Hostal was very central and in a safe place. If I ever gonna come to Barcelona again, I might think to stay here!. nice modern rooms, spatious, good location, clean, comfortable, 5 min to plaza catalunya (aerobus, tourist bus,rambla) 2 min to metro or train, very friendly staff and owner. Sparkling clean room and shower at low cost. Wifi plus single computer available. Very good location just off Passeig de Gracia, metro and rail link to Sants station. Nothing really only slight thing I would say is that if you want walking distance to la rambla your looking at about 25 to 30 min walk but we are young and plenty of bars etc on route on the whole the location is perfect. Breakfast unavailable although snack machine and hot drink machine in corridor. a bit noisy, one night had to use earplugs cause the neighbors were very passionate. Currently some construction done in the building with noise all day long (8-6pm), no problem when you are outside all day... Nothing negative to say !. - no air-co (only a fan) in the room in spite of information on letsbookhotel.com that there is air-co. I had the feeling that we paid for a higher standard than the one we actually got; - poor room view to a back wall of the neighbouring building. Don't get it confused with Hostal Barcelona (totally different) lol. Nothing. Bed a bit dippy in the middle but not a real problem. Window facing a wall, which means no daylight and no fresh air; double rooms do not have proper air condition but only a noisy fan. Shower curtain fixture appear flimsy. umm nothing every thing was very nice. none. nothing. Nothing. The pillows. Too expensive for the room/ service.
