We really appreciated the location; so close to everything! The breakfast was wonderful, a great way to start the morning and a bargain at 10 Euros per day (paid up front when we arrive) The best of all however, was the tea bar available all day long to sit, have tea, rest the weary legs and touch base with family and friends on the complimentary internet!. Reception staff were incredibly helpful, happy, polite, free internet and after 1pm free snacks. Great bathroom, hairdryer and toiletries. The location was fantastic, safe pedestrian area..very handy to metro and many sights were within walking distance. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. Very accessible by Aerobus (Blue A1) from the airport.all reviews »
The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The location was excellent and central to all the attractions. Centrality to Las Ramblas and other places of interest. Noisy on Friday night, but can't really expect anything else when situated so centrally. Difficult and expensive parking and luggage carryover,. small size of rooms and smoke smel. Not exactly, but this time the welcoming cava was not served for us..lack of hot water two days, pillows not soft and fluffy. The room was too small, and a bit noisy.hard beds. breakfast too expensive,bar only open 1 hour a day. Rooms quite small for the price and breakfast expensive. only heating was available in the rooms. no AC cooling. the room was very hot, it was almost impossible to open the window due to the table+TV set. Scalping on soccer tickets by hotel staff person. This has completely colored my opinion about recommending the hotel. No hot water for over 24hours due to electrical fault from rain storm- with no hot water on two mornings. Staff explained but there was no compensation for sub standard facility. Very poor for 3star hotel at over 200 euro a night!. the room was very small. no window, just skylights. brekfast price extremaly high.
