Our last knight was spent at Algoa Guest House. The reception was very friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast area was small but charming the breakfast excellent. Our host always tried to help and be of service. We have been to many B&Bs on our round trip and this was one of the best. It was my first time in pe (and Africa)and the owners of Algoa Guesthouse were very friendly and helpfull. Everything was clean and quiet and when I will ever visit pe again, I will surely stay here again! I have seen other hotels in this town, but this one is the best.

Port Elizabeth makes a good base to take a trip to Addo Elephant Park, which was excellent. Very friendly and helpful hosts, spacious room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, secure parking, in walking distance to the beach, short drive to restaurants and shopping mall, easy drive to the airport (10 min only). The staff was most accommodating. The Breakfast was always excellent. The breakfast area was very charming The location was within walking distance to the beach and to many other attractions. Das nächste Restaurant war zwar sehr gut aber doch 15 bis 20 Minuten gehzeit entfernt. Power failure and big storm one night (none of hosts making). If you dont like dogs you should reconsider staying here. But both are cute. No common areas for relaxing and very small dining room. Its a bit outside,you need a car. N/a. There is no phone in the room.
