Stayed at this hotel for two days with my husband and baby. We arrived very early for check-in, and our room was not ready. We anticipated this, and just wanted to drop our bags off in the meantime. However, the staff decided to upgrade our room without us even asking! We went from a premier room to a luxury room with an early check-in to boot. This unexpected treat made our stay even more enjoyable, as we spent most of our time in the room. Breakfast had many options, and the dining room was .
all reviews » We only stayed for one night, but I can asure you that everything we experienced from check-in upto departure was just perfect. Just a pity we did not get to play golf though, but our time was limited. We will definately return again!!!. All staff were very friendly, but the lady on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Family room an excellent size and well equipped. Having direct access through a gate on our terrace to the pool was an added bonus. Despite the luxury, I liked the way that everything was organized in every detail and as we all know the details makes the difference. It's useless to elaborate details, so to sum up, everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and accommodating to my dietary needs (I had externally-provided kosher meals). I also found the presence of European plugs, and wifi, in the rooms useful. The friendliness of the staff, the service was excellent and the hotel is beauitiful and welcoming. Nothing not to like!. On my last evening and morning, when I could no longer use the wifi, the computer provided for guest access had been infected by a previous guest with a virus and was unusable. Staff ability to have done a clean reinstall of Windows fast, rather than waiting for someone to have come and fixed it, would have been useful. I would prefer a fixed shower. Staff from the bar not really welcoming. 1. Smoking at a restaurant if seated outside(it's only smokers that can enjoy fresh air and non smokers should be confined indoors) 2. Booked a room for a couple but only receiving one key, so when one person goes out of the room the other one is left with a dark room). Nothing!. The coffee machine in the rooms were complicated and unappealing. I understand that they have recieved other complaints about them. passage ways were long and boring but only mentioned this because can't fault anything else. There was a party on at the Randpark Clubhouse next door and the music was blaring till midnight. Just a tad annoying. The location is not ideal if you're not there to play gholf or visiting something specific in the area. The breakfast and cold instant coffee!. The hotel is not child friendly. Staff arent very accomodating and helpful with regards to helping with bottles. golf course is not accessible to guests at the hotel. you are simply told, im sorry, you cannot use the golf course. The food was average to good and some of the room needed dusting. breakfast. variety and choice too small. Not appliccable. Nothing springs to mind. I had indicated that the purpose of the stay was a treat for my husband's 50th birthday but no effort was made to do anything special re: the stay at the hotel. Can't think of anything. A minor details I know but for their best suite !!! The curtains must have been cleaned because now they have shrink to smaller than the underliner Tiles under the bathmate were loose. Spent a lot of time trying to find the Hotel. Website didn't have clear directions. GPS coordinates on the website didn't work. Need to have a clear street address shown on the website. Nothing to say all was fantastic. Nothing. Breakfast was a huge disappointment and very poor indeed. While the staff were excellent the variety and quality of the breakfast laid out was not at the standard expected of a 4* or 5* establishment. I booked twice, once directly and once via Boking.com. It turned out that ifyou book directly with hotel you pay twice as much, which is bizarre. I stay there often and always complain about the huge pillows made for the heads of giants and the invisible black switches and plugs but it never changes. room service is just the menu from the restaurant, (which is very good but not normal room service items). perhaps another big screen tv in order to watch major sporting events. The coffee machine in the room was absolutely abysmal in terms of functioning properly; poor instructions and the coffee bag holder eventually got positioned properly. But the second set of coffee just could not be made! Frustration - that was very early morning and nobody answered the calls. None. Food and food options can be improved. The crowdy Team that arrived to watch the Soccer. Coffee machine in the room...Normal jug kettle would be less frustrating to operate (and quicker). Accessibility from the main road. No Propper Invoice.
