all reviews » Very nice place. I enjoyed my stay there. The owners are really nice people, great staff, yummy breakfast, very comforatble rooms, nice environment with nice collection of antiques. I got free rides to nearby places from the hotel management. Overall it's a great place. I would recommend Northcliff Manor GH to anyone anyday. I loved Ilse's friendly and welcoming manor. She wasn't overbearing but made us feel at home. Her staff were helpful and happy! I had eye surgery and needed to stay in a place near the Eye hospital. Norhtcliff Manor offers transport to and from the Hospital! We really enjoyed our stay!!. I love the place, the owner is very friendly, only the dogs at my return back at night after dinner they did a good jop to activate my flight mode.but things you you laugh at your self afterwords. Other wise the place one of the top ten I assume. Great hosts made one feel extremely welcome . Conveniently located. The independence of being in the outside unit. Great breakfast. Comfortable spacious room. Good wifi. Quiet and safe location, green surroundings and nice views, great help and tips from owners on what to visit in Joburg, very good breakfast, relaxed atmosphere. The bedroom was spacious and luxurious, with extras such as rusks for morning tea, chocolates on the bed and hot water bottles. The breakfast was excellent. Two amazing persons, Johnny and Ilse, and a very nice staff. The house is unique, not only from its history but also the brilliant location on a hill side. Great location, wonderfull friendly and welcoming staff. Ilsa was a fab host. It'll be nice to have intercomm in the room. I understand everything is just a walk away but sometimes one might just want to talk to the hotel staff while in bed. It'll be nice to include lunch and dinner in their menu list. It will also be nice to have more News channels on the cable TV like CNN and BBC. Poor cellphone reception. The shower. There were no negatives. The house is located in a very nice area, but there is no public transport so a car is very useful. All good. Nothing. whats not to like.
